Guilty pleasure entertainment options

Or maybe not "guilty pleasure", but stuff you get into that other people you know don't have the same interest in.

For me, it's low-budget horror flicks. The sort you find at stores (or through Amazon) that come in 10-15-20 films in a collection, where there are maybe a couple of name films and everything else is micro-budget. A lot of it is crap, but I find it to be entertaining lowbrow crap and tend to watch a couple of them about every week.

At least it's a more relaxing form of entertainment than "spend hours scouring the net for political stuff (real or fake) to get in a tizzy over".

I'm into the old school low budget, thriller, horror, slasher stuff.

Follow vcrofdeath on Instagram. Hilarious footage.

I also like the BS reality shows where they "save" a business. Bar Rescue being my fav. I will binge the hell out of that show if given the opportunity.

Ok; how's this:  I enjoy birding ............have two seed feeders, one finch feeder, and two hummingbird feeders, along with several bird houses over my 2 acres, all of which attract of fairly wide variety of birds.  When I was a kid and my parents built a house in a wooded area I started to get into identifying the many different species around, and it has stayed with me throughout.  Driving around back country roads in a convertible during the summer works well too.

A friend of mine recently got me reading some fanfictions of classic books. So I've been binging through a couple of them. Everything from fanfics of Tom Sawyer to Pride & Prejudice. Years ago I read "Rhett Butler's People" and liked it, but had no idea that there was such a market for fanfics. Definitely like to read varying off of canon's.

Friends is terrible, but I kinda enjoy it. I used to watch Days of Our Lives when I was younger because my grandma did, and I didn't hate it.

Bahahaha. My mom used to watch days of our lives so I did too. I didn't watch for about five years and then I happened to catch one. Stefano was still the bad guy. Bo and Hope were going to get married. John Black still didn't know who he was...

I'm not much at identifying birds but I do like them. Our property is 1/4 mile long and we have a blue bird trail from the front to the back. We have a couple of bird feeders and a humming bird feeder. The birds i recognize are blue birds, Orioles, cardinals, red wing blackbirds, mocking birds, kill deer, robins, sparrows and one pigeon that nests outside my office window every year in a pine tree.

I own every episode of The O.C. on DVD

My favorite books are the Harry Potter books.  I still tear up the last time he was into the forbidden forest.

Low-budget creature feature films.  The really shitty stuff.  Sharktopus, Two-Headed Shark Attack, Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus, etc.  That kind of nonsense.

Don't get me wrong; I like the better creature flicks, too.  I loved Lake Placid and Deep Blue Sea, for example.  But there's a special place in my heart for the really bad ones, too.
