Anyone do these? Had success? So far, I view them all as an incredible scam. You can never see matches, messages, etc. unless you pay, pay, pay!

not me personally, but i have several friends that used them to have tons of casual hookups. That's not something i've ever been into but i guess if you wanted that it works. i also know 2 people who have met their spouses on them so you can go that route also and i'd say it works.
I also know a person that i believe has undiagnosed mental illness and he claims they don't work at all. my point is i think it's up to you whether they work or not but i have no clue if any of these people are paying for any of these apps.
Have realistic standards, and yeah, you gotta pay. It is a business afterall.
I have 5 friends who have met their spouse on them. I never gave them a full chance when I was single, but I also got lucky and met my wife "traditionally" at a bar lol. I wasn't far off from giving them a real shot when my buddy said he met a girl he really likes.
I'm not to the paying point yet lol

What are you referring to exactly?
Bumbler and Tinder just limit your swipes in free versions.
I met my wife before that was really a thing. My younger cousin just married a girl he met on one though.
My brother-in-law met his wife on Tinder. She was our neighbor at the time. They now have two wonderful children.

Specifically Match. But there are catches in just about all of them.
The funny thing with Match... I "liked" a person, and I get an email that says she "liked" me and sent a message. I go back to all of the women I've "liked," and she no longer shows up there. You can no longer see that person unless you pay. Stupid.
Like Laley said it’s a business. Think of it as a good investment. eHarmony was suppose to be a good one, if it’s still around. I can’t remember seeing advertisements for it anymore though.
Tinder and Bumble are the ones more for casual hook ups right? I personally wouldn’t mess around with those.
My friends that it worked for are: (4) Match and (1) eHarmony.
Those two are "more serious" right? Hence why paying to get anything out of it is required.
I've had success. My last gf was from Tinder. We were together almost 4 years. Now I'm back in the game, it's been fun.

I have no clue. I was never on one. I missed the Twitter game in college by about 2 yrs. Probably for the best lol.
Two friends have used it. One good so far and one kinda bad result.
First friend met a girl on Tinder and got her pregnant after like a month. Ended up with a marriage and 3 kids. Now in a nasty divorce that is going on forever.
Second friend is the kinda guy who was never confident to make the first move but was a great guy. She maid the first contact and really pushed him for the first couple meetings. They have down been together almost a year and are about to move in together. She seems great and it’s his first serious relationship in almost 12 years.
There’s a Tinder subreddit and some of the negative interactions people post about are like venturing into the dating depths of hell.

Tinder is definitely more for hooking up.
Bumble maybe a bit less. They're all whatever you want them to be based on how much effort you want to put in.
Hinge is another, although I've never used it.
Hinge sucks
