Coffee routine

What is your daily coffee routine?

I make one, sometimes two, cups with my Aeropress in the morning. I use Private Selection beans from Kroger, and I grind them immediately before brewing. Most days I'll run out and get a cup of coffee in the late morning or early afternoon while I'm at work.

We also have a Nespresso machine. My wife uses it the most, she likes espresso (latte's) but doesn't drink coffee. I'll have one a few times a week.

I've tried it a couple times and just never been a fan. Mountain Dew/energy drinks always served my caffeine needs. Probably for the best, actually.

There's a difference between never having a cup and trying it.

Wife and I share a very strong 12-cup pot of coffee in the morning (2 cups a piece) and I usually get another at work.  I literally drink caffeine all day.

I have a keurig and make a cup before I leave for work M-F. Then I'll make a cup of coffee at work or grab a coffee at Dunkin or Starbucks near my work.

Weekends I'll have a cup when I wake up if I'm not too hungover.

I've been really trying to scale down on my coffee intake. I put cream in my coffee and I don't think 1-2 cups of cream is a good thing. But it's so good so I really don't have much success in that. Lately I've been substitutiing black tea, and that's been alright.

I love coffee.

I usually drink two mugs in the morning. Don't drink after noon.

I use a Keurig. I use a variety of K-cups but only straight coffee, no flavoring and black.

Try switching to just black.  Coffee is not bad for you.

Make a pot at night set to brew just before the alarm. Have a cup before the gym, sip on a second while getting ready for work. Usually a store brand or lower-end "name".

My office has pretty solid coffee, usually drink 1-2 cups in the morning.

On the weekends I do a french press, grind the beans right before making. Usually one large cup in my 2016 NBA Championship mug.

If it's hot out, I'll head up to Pete's for Iced Coffee.

Stouts were my gateway to coffee, didn't realized that it was to be black, didn't like all the shit put in it.

5-7 days a week, I "IM" fast with a few cups of black coffee only in the morning, eat lunch after noon, don't drink coffee after eating lunch.

Same. I can't drink it black. Usually stop at the local gas station in the morning and buy a cup.

I don’t necessarily love black coffee but to save on calories I’ll drink it black. Work has big machines w crappy Folgers but I’ll still have two travel mugs full before noon, and then usually another one at 3.

On the weekends I’ll either use a French press or Aeropress and have a couple of cups. I have a cheap burr grinder that I’ll grind prior to making. Haven’t found a brand of beans I really like, and I’m cheap so that doesn’t help.

We don't keep any Half and Half in the house, so I only drink it black at home. I'll typically add Half and Half when I get it somewhere else.

Normally I drink a pot of coffee every two days.

None of those fancy lattes - regular old coffee.  Favorite is probably IHOP, followed closely by Tim Horton's....then McD's.....then 7/11 and Dunkin Donuts.

But my main preference is usually to make a pot at home, especially when working from home.  I buy fairly expensive premium coffee, but it still only comes out to like $0.50 a cup.

Had a sip of coffee because I figured I'd try it in Italy. It's the only sip I've ever had.

Love coffee. I am a total coffee snob. We live near a World Market and I buy their whole bean 1 pound bags, usually a dark roast like French or Sumantra. I have a Cuisinart that grinds the beans for brew. I love it and that's how I drink my coffee on the weekdays.

For the weekends, I either do an aeropress or French Press depending on how tired I am.

I drink one cup in the morning.  Then I take a huge dump.

Like just about everything in food/drink, you have to build up your taste tolerance.  When I first started drinking booze, I hated beer... but got used to it.  I would get nauseous at shots of whiskey... but then I learned to drink it neat.  Black coffee is no different.  For those who don't like it, I say go for it!

Or, some people just don't like it
