Funny rhing is that I still have a bunch of tapes. Basically the whole decade of the 80's.

Funny thing is, you actually kept them.
posted by SpockI just bought a 1986 prelude. Only 144000 on it
My grandma had an 86 Prelude I always borrowed to “cruise”....it was pretty sweet. Fastest I have ever been in a car 😀. My dad still has her 97 prelude and it’s still under 40,000 miles
posted by Ironman92I drove an 88 Accord until 2001 and put 285,000 on it....then sold it for $1200
Currently have a 2005 Accord and it’s still my car. Has 219,000 miles on it. Just had spark plugs changed for the first time lol. The shop told me I pushed it a bit. I’m hoping it last until we pay off my wife’s new Accord. I would like two more years but might not be reasonable as far as I drive to work (65 miles on way)....but recently put 508 miles on one tank of gas so the mileage is still excellent
Update….still going strong at 325,000 miles and newer accord paid off 3 years ago. So now hoping to get a few more years to pay off her new Acura, doesn’t seem likely.
And rereading this thread I answered my own question to whether or not I’ve ever had the plugs replaced.
I have had my current car for 7 years now. Longest I have had one vehivle
Still driving my first “new” vehicle (Tacoma). 2017 with only 38k miles.

I am assuming you work from home? Very impressive that you are only putting a little over 6k miles on it a year

We use my wife’s Pilot for the kids. So I only use it to commute mainly and it used to only be 14 round trip and now 28. Had a boat but never had to tow it far. Hopefully it lasts for awhile.
We are adding a 3rd kid in February (3 kids in 5 years....wooo).
Will be in the market for a minivan now. Honestly hoping to score a 2014 or 2015 Honda Odyssey with around 110-130k miles.
We have a 2012 Chevy Malibu...170k miles. I will keep driving that until its no longer running. We also have a 2015 Acadia (75k-ish miles) that has been really good for my wife. 2nd row captain seats. With 3 kids in car seats I think the minivan will just be easier and it'll be helpful to have 2 vehicles equipped with 3 car seats if needed (first world dilemma).
2021 4Runner, just turned 13k last week.
16mpg is annoying, but gladly I don't commute for work. If I did, I'd be in something more efficient.
2023 Ford Raptor, 10k miles (drove it to FL and back)

Those things are holding their value lol

What year Pilot? Those are super nice but newer ones I confuse for for really nice CRv s

2020 I think (more CRV like than the boxy older ones). Wanted a 3rd row. Kinda wish we would have splurged on a Tahoe or similar size.

I think my sister in laws has a 3rd row?
