Build your perfect burger….for today

Today I’m going with…

1/3 pound patty cooked on the grill and sprinkled with steak seasoning. Will toast a sunny bun. Once cooked will add a thick and rich barbecue sauce, the tiniest amount of red onion, a dash of mustard and 2 strips of bacon.

I’d go with a smash burger, toasted bun, needs onions, and either a “special sauce” type of thing or Mayo/ mustard/ ketchup. And maybe something for some spice.

Yeah…I left off fast food style pickle (2 of them thin bad boys)

Medium well/well

ketchup/mustard or bbq sauce, never ever ever ever any mayo

bread & butter pickle

lettuce (has to be iceburg for the crunch)

tomato

cheddar or pepper jack cheese

any bun except kings hawaiian

Mayonnaise is the Devil.

Leave it out a few hours and eat some 

(2) 1/8 patty, grilled and smashed. American cheese on both. On top of the top patty, raw sweet onion, lettuce, avocado spread, bacon. Slider buns, buttered and grilled.

1/3 patty, grilled (smashed is fine). American cheese. Bacon, jalapeño, raw onion, bbq sauce. Pretzel bun.

 I like bacon, lettuce tomato, pickle, onion and american cheese.  Mustard, Heinz ketchup and Mayo.

There are a couple of specialty burgers around town I like

Revelry tavern has a smash burger that is very similar to a big mac and it is really good.

The Rail has a "Blue Bessie" burger that has blue cheese and spinach instead of lettuce, both are solid

I also at times like a mushroom swiss burger with A1.

double hamburger with just mayo and mustard

1/4 80% ground chuck (with pepper and salt, obviously)

smoked carmelized onions

chopped pickles

ketchup & spicy mustard

sliced tomato

lettuce

american cheese

crispy & crumpled bacon

chopped jalapeno

and, most important: toasted pretzel bun

I know this is burgers, but for brats the GOAT is cheddar jalapeno!

I like my brat boiled in beer and finished on the grill…..I slice em in half and just go regular thin strip of yellow mustard. Very plain.

Smoked pulled pork or pork belly bacon

Donut bun is delicious.  I'll experiement with different types of bread.
