Norm Macdonald was warned to lay off O.J. on SNL Weekend Update cuz he was golf buddies with the president of NBC. Norm kept slamming Simpson anyway. Every. Damn. Week. And got fired for it. A year later, he was invited back to host and did the most brilliant monologue ever. #RIP pic.twitter.com/3M6wI4uI0D

Even though it was a smaller role, he was awesome in Billy Madison.
“Battle” guess no one @DEADLINE ever watched Norm’s comedy specials pic.twitter.com/kvc1ewIcPq

Did a great Burt Reynolds on the SNL Jeopardy skits.
His endless ripping on O J was fantastic.
When Conan lost the Tonight Show he made a bad situation hilarious in the most unpredictable way, we lost a genius today 😢https://t.co/Z6pkMThDvE

Just watched 20 min of Burt Reynolds SNL clips.
RIP Turd.
He was easily the GOAT Weekend Update anchor.
“Norm @normmacdonald was a great talent, and I loved laughing with him on SNL. *Bob Dole* will miss Norm Macdonald.” pic.twitter.com/gPsdyJ5tS9

He’s one of my favorite SNL Cast members. I had the chance to see him a couple years ago and didn’t take it. I now regret that. This is making me think of a list of people I need to see live before they die. I got to see David Spade in Vegas and Chappelle in Yellow Springs. I’m trying to think of who I need to put on my list.
I saw Mitch Hedberg the year before he died. I recall that night often as we sat at a table front and center up against the stage and he actually fucked with us a little.
Laughed out loud. Loved all the SNL sketch stuff too.
never be a better Weekend Update anchor.

Tim Dillon and Andrew Schulz are the best 2 comedians going right now (besides Chappelle/Rock/Burr/Maron/Attell). I've seen both and have tickets to watch them both again this fall. I haven't seen any of those GOATS i listed either because they only do huge arenas and i'm not about that life anymore. Dillon and Schulz still do >5000 seat venues where it's easy to get in and out and the show feels more cozy which is way better for comedy to me.
I'd pay to see Tim Dillon. Never heard of the other guy.
I spent 2 hours down the rabbit hole of norm skits last night.
His delivery was awesome

His delivery was abolutely perfect for Weekend Update.
You guessed it...Frank Stallone.
It is necessary to be tolerant, in order to be
