Many have mentioned that all (most) have saved some money because of the COVID-19 quarantine.

What expenditure has gone up if any for you?  

We have saved money from not going out to dinner, however, we have spent a lot on groceries weekly now $175 / $225, alcohol $60.00, wine $50.00, expensive cuts of meat $90.00, eggs weekly, ice cream $20.00, the freezer is full of this stuff and the wife is buying lots of health supplements at a rate of $90 a month. 

I have 2 gallons of milk in the freezer I ask myself why.. the wife is in this panic mode every time to news comes on about a shortage... 

Groceries have went up but that’s more then offset by not eating out. I’m guessing our next electric bill will go up since my wife is working from home. 

Same here.  When I checked my online bank statement, there's a box that shows your trends, and a statement in large font that said, "Your grocery expenses increased 180% this month!"   

Should be less now, we got enough toilet paper to last.

Freezing milk...wtf?

Groceries and beer have gone WAY up.

Also random apartment shit, like proper length cables for electronics. 

Just groceries but overall food costs are way down.

People went nuts with milk, as well as powdered milk.  Still cannot find it anywhere as I use it in a recipe, but have substituted carnation instant breakfast powder.    Guess the old folks hoarded that powdered milk.

Still have not had to buy TP....

It'll keep two months in the freezer, no problem.  After thawing, lasts about the same length of time as not freezing it.  When our sons were growing up, we could go thru three gallons a week or more, easy.  Usually had two gallons in the fridge and two in the freezer.

Groceries, for sure. But, it probably balances a little from not eating out tons. Having 6 people at the house all day (well, 5 when I'm not there) puts a hurting on the food. I imagine our utilities are largely unchanged.

We only started freezing milk. We have been keeping milk in the freeze for about one month. Once it defrosts it keeps the same lenght as unfrozen milk would last. 

I just asked my wife if she ever heard of freezing milk and she said yes.  She said you should pour a little out before freezing for the expansion and she believes the unthawed milk isn’t as good as the fresh.

Not necessary the side of the gallon milk has an indentation for expansion, the gallon will expand but will not burst.

You can freeze breast milk.... also  .....    for future information 

I have no real idea if anything's really changed other than how my eating out expenditures have dropped to occasionally ordering out from the local pizza/sub joint when I think to.

As a result of that, in theory, my grocery bill should be a bit larger. But since I used to go 2-3 times a week and now, that's dropped to about once a month, it's hard to tell. And may not really be larger because, when I go a bunch of times, there's a good chance I'll grab extra stuff for dinner that night or a snack of some sort. And going and getting everything at once, I just get what I'll need to have some sort of meal variety over the next however many weeks, so those random "because I wanted it at that point in time" food purchases aren't being made.

Biggest impact is for peeps who have kids in school. Sister has 5 that would be in school and to have them home all day, every day man it takes a lot of $$ to feed them.  SChool lunches are very affordable!

Plus, it seems most schools provide a free "breakfast" for all the kids, even if it is just some milk and a pop-tart.  I sympathize with your sister.

Plus, add in both her and my brother in law work at the school and get the cheap lunches as well that is basically 7 more full lunches per day!!

BTW, the last several milk jugs I have purchased do not have the circular indentation (for freezing).
