Once the COVID-19 ban has been lifted, travel and restaurant, what will be your first event, dinning pleasure, shopping adventure or whatever will you do?

Wife and I will be binging at our favorite breakfast place Samantha's that morning, organize a family and friends gathering at our house covered dish event I will provide the brats and drinks. The next night wife and I enjoy a private dinner of lobster at Bender's. Someplace in between all this a trip to the pistol range for me.

Probably trivia night at our regular watering hole.

I haven't had many cravings since lockdown, so I'm not sure which restaurant I'll go to first.

Not sure if chicken wings or pizza, but a Blue Moon on tap will definitely be involved.

Definitely dining out for probably a week at my favorite places in town. A good burger, steak and some fine dining sounds pretty good after all this.

For any Top Chef fans, Bryan Voltaggio's Volt is nearby and my wife and I were planning on visiting soon anyways.

Normally I'd say we'd be going back to the casino but I've already told my girlfriend none of that for at least 6 months after this is over because the casinos will be doing everything they can to get the money back from the weeks/months they were closed.

Anywhere without our kids. Ideally Hometeam bbq at the beach with several Game Changers (frozen painkiller type drink) and some smoked wings and burnt ends.

This has to be killing the casinos now that they've added the sportsbooks. With no sports? No gambling? No money...

Wonder if that will end up being true.   Think they will program them to pay out lil less?

Definitely. I'm paranoid as fuck when it comes to "Big Brother" watching over me which is why I sometimes don't use a players card.

We hit a taxable jackpot at what was then the Horseshoe in Cleveland and the guy walks up to me, before speaking with me or pulling my players card and says "Congratulations Mr ......" so they know where you are, what machines you're on and, in my opinion, when to turn up/down the odds on the slot machines depending on how much you're winning.

Here's one for you...there was a lady at Mountaineer that had a 30k marker which they charge 25% interest on and give them a month to pay it off. If she maxes that marker (basically the casino is being a loan shark) and doesn't pay within the timeline, they charge her 7500 plus the 30k.

Well this lady maxes her marker (I know because we talked to her frequently) and there's a drawing for a Nissan Murano. Right before the drawing all of these suits come up to her and start whispering in her ear. Guess who wins the Nissan to wipe out her marker plus gets 2k in money to play on the slots? This other lady, sitting near her, who is also a regular, throws a fit screaming "fixed, it was fixed!" Next drawing for a Range Rover, guess who wins that with the old Patrick Ewing frozen envelope at a drawing? The lady who bitched about the fix being in. That same lady stepped on a soft spot on the casino floor and broke her ankle. Was it a coincidence that she started hitting jackpots like a mofo? Like I said, they know who is at what machines by their players card and can set them accordingly.

Same can't be said for table games but to answer your question, I definitely don't think they will be giving out jackpots/big wins with the millions they are going to lose during this pandemic. Gotta get it back some way.

Let my parents take our 3 kids for a week. That is the first thing, and it will be glorious.

Hopefully I can have a trip in there for my wife and I, as I'd love to go to a job interview -- and get it.

Interesting.

I am not a huge gambler whatsoever although we did hit them 5-6 times in a 3 day period in PA, WV and Ohio last fall.   With it being all electronic now will be easier to fix em.

At times Ive heard the financial reports on local casinos on the radio so it will be interesting how it all changes as you say in the first 6 months...

My girlfriend thinks the exact opposite. She thinks they will be giving out jackpots like crazy to get the word out, lure back in customers and then tighten the machines. I will say that Mountaineer's sports book area seems to be the most impressive and usually has quite a few people in that area.
