I know a lot of people have gained weight during the pandemic/lockdowns (the so-called "Covid 19"). I have been fortunate enough to lose 25 lbs. I would take a decent amount of snacks to the office along with breakfast and lunch. Even though they were mostly healthy, they clearly were food my body didn't need. I'm doing very little snacking since working from home.

My best friend who has been chubby to fat since I’ve know him (5th Grade) lost 90lbs and looks skinny.
Then another good friend started losing weight just a couple months ago and has lost a staggering amount in just two months.
I’m going to Vegas with them next month and one of them is proposing to his g/f out there so it should be a good time.

I'm essentially a full-remote employee until I decide I don't want to be (never, as of now).
I've seen my mom and grandma more over the last year that any previous year in the last 15.

More patient at home. Being around each other this much has taught me to be a little more tolerant if my family members' idiocicracies. Read a lot of books and watched hardly any tv.

I think it’s made my family more appreciative. There’s 15 of us at get togethers which we would do at least once a month prior to Covid. We still tried to get together but some of them were very nervous and careful. We did Christmas dinner in my parents 40 degree garage. We all got together this weekend and for the first time none of us had masks (my 15yo niece who was perhaps one of the most cautious was finally able to get vaccinated.) It just makes you appreciate the small things.

My life never changed
Yes it did, you became even more patriotic than before when you showed those jackasses at the discount store that you won't have your freedom impinged. I'd say the Mt. Rushmore of American heroes would be the Founders, Normandy/Iwa Jima stormers, and "No Mask" Spock at Costco.

I was able to move to Ohio while being able to go mostly remote work.
Also, was able to pay off debt and save for a house.
For some of my friends I was not able to see in person the last year, we set up a weekly zoom call/ game call. It usually lasts an hour, and part catch up, part busting each others balls.
