I had playstation vue and honestly, it is the best streaming service out there.  But i cancelled because they recently dropped my local fox network.  

Curious what makes it better than the others? Initially it had more, but I get everything I need from Sling now since they added the 2 packages as one a few years ago.

to be fair to sling, i had it in the early stages and it was garbage early on.  Cleveland locals are why i prefer vue.  I had directv now as well...and it was a mess too.  It was constantly buffering.  No idea if sling has dvr yet, but that is the nice thing about vue.

The dumbest thing about Vue is that it doesn't have an app for my Sony UHD player....lol.  Why a sony streaming product is on a sony player is full on retard.  That would have enabled me to eliminate my roku all together

Sling has DVR now. You should’ve stuck with it. The early users (like myself) get any new add-on for free (DVR, cheaper all in 1 package, etc).

I don’t need locals cause I have an antenna. I don’t need regionals cause I use parents login (Fox Sports Ohio for Cavs), and I don’t need STO cause I pay for MLBTV and expense it for work. I realize this isn’t a viable option for everyone, but using someone’s login for regional networks is pretty simple.

There may already be a thread on this but I wanted to bump this one as it's somewhat related. As I mentioned earlier, we have the Roku stick. We're getting ready to dump cable and are thinking about going with the Playstation Vue. Anyone have experience with this? If so, can you get local channels? Wouldn't want to lose Sunday football.
