Are you socially distancing in the age of covid, or hanging out with peeps?

We're heading up to Newark for the weekend to hang out with my mom. They're camping nearby (big pull behind camper) with friends, we're taking over their house for the weekend, but will hang out with them off and on. We plan on seeing as many friends and family as we can while we're in town.

I get tomorrow off, and we both took Monday off so we'll find something to do in Cincinnati when we're back in town.

This is also a test of polls on the new site.

Hanging out with the neighbors. They’ve been in our “bubble” since this all started, and it will be outside.

Visiting my parents. Will mostly be outside by the pool, but are considering staying the night for the first time since Christmas. Still makes me very nervous, so we'll see.

Family reunion on the 4th. Not a large gathering under 50 people.

Visiting friends outside of STL. Her parents are at their beach-house in Texas, so we get to take over their home. It has a pool, which is all I need. 3 couples, all with a baby between 1-1.5 yrs of age, holidays sure have changed.

Yep, thought about posting to like-that’s question about parenting with kids.... it’s hard, and it 100% changes your extracurricular life. Thank God our 2 neighbors have babies around ours (almost 2.5 and 9 months). Wouldn’t be able to handle it with no one in the same situation.

Going to the lakehouse, the wife and I. Will just be sitting outside by the fire for a couple days. Grilling food and eating edibles.

Lake Cumberland with the in-laws. It'll be tame as all activities are cancelled. I'll still drink though.

Didn’t vote on the poll because I’m just hanging out with my wife and 4 of our kids at our place.

So I guess I’m chilling out alone with them.

Stayed indoors all day watching TMC and Hallmark Christmas movies.  A nearby community is having fireworks tonight, we may drive over and look for a parking spot within a mile away to get some semblance of feeling like it's the Fourth.

I was hungover! After a hard day of drinking Thursday, I was planning to take yesterday off. And then the neighbors texted me saying they were having a get-together, so I figured I'd make a cameo appearance and have a beer with them. 7-8 beers later and a couple scotches and, well, that was that for a light and lazy night.

Went floating down the river with 10 family members in Bolivar, OH on the Tuscarawas River.

Hungover as fuck with 2 little kids is less than ideal.

California is so stupid. No 4th of July fireworks displays, but protesting is still okay. Because that makes all the sense in the world. Good on the Californians for sticking a big ol fuck you up to the idiots in charge there.
