Came in to work this morning only to realize one of our new hires is a Bills fan transplant from Buffalo. I told him I wasn't going to shit talk him but did say the Bills are "soft as Charmin." After getting the ball run down their throat, in a snowstorm, by a putrid Bengals O-Line that couldn't run the ball last year, my opinion hasn't changed. He's been walking around red faced all morning mumbling about Zach Wilson.
So, do the Jets pick up Carson Wentz?
Not even last night or the preseason, but how long has him to the Jets been a possibility? It’s been at least a year right?
I actually think they'd go after Foles before Wentz, maybe Flacco since he knows the system. Possible trade for Jacoby Brissett? Not a ton of exciting options.
Are any of those guys significantly better than Zach Wilson?

Tyler Huntley might be their best bet. But Baltimore might want to hold onto him for when Lamar gets a knee injury in November and misses the rest of the season after initially only expecting to be out two weeks.

Good point. They asked the same thing on the radio this morning and said they'd probably just roll with Wilson.
Not that Justin wants to hear this, as I'm sure he'd rather have a shot at a SB, but at least the Jets will keep their 1st rounder next year because Rodgers won't reach the amount of snaps to kick in that in.
I just can't believe this defense is going to be wasted again.
i'm torn between my love for rodgers, my hate for the jets, over confidence of new yorkers, and never wanting to see anyone get hurt like that. overall it sucks, but i think a-rod did enough confidence building with wilson that he might end up figuring it out. if he's in the building for this season while he rehabs, it'll really solidify if wilson is ever going to be a guy or not.
that said. the line on that team is god awful, and since they won't get the 1st rounder from the packers next year you almost think they will have to go big in free agency to fix it.

I'd say the only people feeling worse than Justin now are the patrons of some Milwaukee bar.
Place set up a deal this year (with a few more rules than this) stating that if Rodgers starts for the Jets and they lose, people who'd opened their tab a bit before the game started get their drinks for free. Aaron goes down, the place erupts and people started drinking like crazy. And then the Jets pull it out.
Whole lot of people there who are probably hung over as fuck and wondering if they can set up a payment plan for last night.
