2 Sundays of not paying attention or caring what happens in the NFL, because I’m waiting on the playoffs, is weird.
Does it ever get old, fans of perpetual good teams??

Don’t know…like most Steelers wins it comes down to the last play and seemingly every year the Steelers are the last team in or the first team out.
Talk to a Chiefs fan maybe
Bradley Chubb torn ACL….he’s done. Hurt it while being down 30
posted by gutIf PIT wins out, they need a BUF or JAX loss to get in.
Both are unlikely, but together they have a decent shot if they can survive BAL backups.
You know, when I got to my friend's yesterday evening, the TV showed the AFC standings and I'd forgotten all about how badly Jacksonville had slumped and that they were actually tied with Indy/Houston, but currently hold the tiebreaker over them. Heh, the odds are now somewhat better than, I don't know, 0.01%. A good 15-20%, I'd say. Both Jacksonville and Buffalo are on the road. Tennessee sucks, but they're at home and Jacksonville has struggled a lot recently. Miami's good, but seem to be injury-riddled and they'll be playing a desperate team that's been playing pretty good recently and Miami does tend to be pretty blah whenever they have to play a team that is good.
Sooooo......PIT fans were rooting for BAL to clinch the #1 seed, so they'd play backups against the Steelers....and then PIT still needs help to make the playoffs.
And, LOL, if they do make the playoffs you can bet it will be ugly again - BUF, MIA or KC!
Such is the state of being a Steeler fan while Mediocre Mike continues to steer the ship into the rocks.

Gotta beat Ravens and hope Miami is healthy enough to want that #2 seed and take it
I’ve given up hope with the Titans lol
Not only are the Browns in the playoffs, aren’t they all but set to take on the winner of the lousy AFC south?

If it’s the Texans I think it’ll be a much better game than a couple weeks ago.
Browns 30
Texans 27
Browns 31
Jags 20
Browns 33
Colts 16
That last one 😁
Not that I think any Steeler fan will cry if he's no longer on the roster but have any of you guys heard that Pickett "refused" to be the backup to Rudolph against Seattle?

I heard Mark Madden said that and I've heard both Tomlin and him say otherwise. And I don't know how much I trust Madden as a source.

Meh, you guys won't have to worry about it much longer. I think you'll have a new QB next year. My bet is Justin Fields. And to give Gut some major wood, I keep hearing Tomlin will get a contract extension.

Twisted story via Twitter…shocking I know

Madden ticked at Tomlin because he declined to do his show. Madden really really sucks
Carter is the top writer for Pittsburgh sports IMO. He’s a solid dude with actual morals.

Yeah, Carter is good. Worked for DK for a while, so I got familiar with his work then. Saw DK also had posted a rebuttal of Madden's allegations yesterday with a quote on the matter from Tomlin.
As a side note, if a tweet Carter responded to is true, looks like shitty Brad Allen's shitty ref crew is going to be working the Pittsburgh-Baltimore game. Weird as fuck to have the most controversial crew of the current NFL season that has supposedly been demoted to where some/all of the crew won't be doing the postseason working one of the bigger match-ups of the week that potentially could have impact on who makes the AFC playoffs, but sadly, I can't say I'm really that surprised.

Could go several ways….will be on their best behavior under the microscope but that scares me on calling touchy stuff and ruining the game.
Hope they just follow script and let Steelers win so other games mean more
Jets parting ways with Dalvin Cook.
8.6 million gets you 67 attempts, 214 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 fumbles.
Woof.

Would've been better spent on a backup QB or OL I would think, but what do I know?
Wouldn't shock me if Cook ended up with the Browns. Knows Stefanski's offense and, although Jerome Ford looked better last week, he isn't it.
Had Aaron Rodgers stayed healthy, I have a feeling that Cook may have seen more time in the Jets offense.
Dalvin Cook when the #Browns hired Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach:
