Good lord.
I made my comment about the punts because the Chargers only put up two FG's on the Pats defense and Herbert is just a tad better than Trubisky. This one could end 3-2 on a walkoff FG in the bottom of the 9th.
Herbert is just a tad better than Trubisky? WTF did you just say?
I read that as sarcasm, meaning Herbert is way better than Mitch and they still only put up 6.

Bingo....with a much better offense. Steelers will likely try to lean on the run and the Pats D is #3 in the league in ypg given up on the ground. Will likely try to make Mitch beat them.
Ha. Went right over my head. Apologies.
No worries. You may have gotten me with one a few weeks ago. lol
Ok…just for fun for me (because I know the enjoyment will not be within the game, even a win will be gross to watch but handy in the standings)
Over/Under 37.5……too much hype of 4 ppg for 3 games. Stuff will happen in this game.
Patriots WILL….score on a deep pass and will score on a defensive or special teams TD
Steelers WILL….have a bone-headed play that cost them a TD and they will miss a FG
Steelers will punt only 4x
Patriots will punt only 5x
Najee Harris 47.5 over/under rushing yards
Patriots 129.5 over/under yards rushing
Joey Porter Jr will have a pick 6 (if the bone-headed happening isn’t this play)
We will see a punt that doesn’t get to the first down line
IF T.J. Watt has FEWER than 2 sacks the Steelers will lose. If he has more than 2 sacks they will win. If he has exactly 2 the game will go to overtime
Ben Roethlisberger will be in attrndance
Over/under Steelers drives before I pause the game and come back 37 minutes later to watch from behind 2.5
Friendfromlowry WILL NOT……watch.
I’m 1/1
1 play…Zeke’s knee, in the air blows up Watt’s face. He’s done.
3rd play receiver makes incredible play on deep ball
I can’t watch football
And I’ve said fuck 14x in 4 plays. My dog hates me. The NFL hates me and I hate me.
Yeah this is going to be worse than the Cardinals.
How the fuck was this team 7-4?
They are the Jets and Panthers but don’t tell me the Jets or Panthers would resemble this mess of the last 6 quarters. These are the back to back performances that have people wondering if Steelers could beat Bama or Georgia
Trubisky now playing for being on a team next week or evermore
Well that was certainly a game.

A lot more scoring than expected. 15 punts EXACTLY so it was a push.
Ooof....first time a team above .500 was beaten in back to back weeks by teams 8 games under .500, and at home. Mr Tomlin, who is slowly morphing into Marvin Lewis, might be in trouble if the Yinz lose out.
People on Reddit calling to tear it down and trade players, even TJ Watt. Seems drastic? Trading away one of the top defensive players in the league?

That does seem a little extreme but my fiancee's oldest son, who is a Steeler fan, thinks all they really have on defense is Watt & Highsmith, who will make splash plays with sacks/strips, but other than that, not much there. Minkah is solid but seems like he's been getting dinged up more. Heyward is a consummate pro but how much more will they get from him?
On offense, other than Pickens, who seems like a bit of a malcontent, what do they have there? O-Line is middle to below average. Najee is Trent Richardson 2.0. Jaylen Warren looks like he could be solid. Nothing to really fear, weapons-wise, on offense. Add into that the fact that Tomlin seems to hire fairly bad OC's. In the OC's defense, hard to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
Big issue for them is that they badly need a new FQB and they've won enough games where they won't be able to get one of the top guys.
Have no clue how they beat the Browns & Ravens.
A few weeks ago I said PIT had to regress. No way you can outgained in every game and still keep winning. Told myself I would just bet on them in that regard and boy has it paid off with these last 2 loses.

Dumb fucking luck, but people still think Tomlin is a good coach.
A lot of bad, poorly coached teams out there. So don't beat yourself and you too, like Tomlin, have a good shot at winning half your games.
You or I probably could have coached that 2008 SB team to a championship. What Tomlin has done since most of Cowher's coaches and players left 12 years ago is completely underwhelming.
People talk about his streak of non-losing seasons like he won 4 SB's or something. It's incredible.

No, their big issue is they need a HC that runs a modern NFL offense.
The offense barely worked when it had outlier talent with AB, Bell and Ben in his prime. The offense Tomlin insists on running might work with prime Brady, if they had a good OL, or Mahomes. That's about it.
That was a real fun game to watch in a "time to drink bleach and other household cleaners and see what happens!" sort of way.

If I had a choice between Baker Mayfield and Kenny Pickett I'd take Mayfield 1000x's over Pickett. Either way, you're being force fed shit.

As I mentioned earlier, he's the new Marvin Lewis except he has a Lombardi.
