This is a private poll, so if you care about that sort of thing no one is going to see your vote.

Just curious to see what the state of the OC is in regards to the election as of now. I'll probably post another poll closer to election day to see if there is any change.

I am going to say that if you vote for Trump you know what you are getting.

A booming pro business government, lower taxes, deregualtion of energy sector.

THe other option is voting for higher taxes, more regulations, weaker international policy and higher umemployment.

Its a no brainer

For you, that's a big positive.

Anyway, to me it depends on who Biden picks as VP, since that'll likely be who'd finish his term. Someone I can get down with, that'll be cool. Someone picked solely to appease the uber-progs, I'll go libertarian with that Jo whatever person.

I'm going to guess AOC. Biden already said he's playing the identity politics with his choice of VP, so he'll most likely fully immerse himself in it. Woman, non-white.

Could you imagine the VP taking over......that moves Pelosi one step closer.

No. She is not 35, so that is not an option. Biden said it would be a woman, and given the recent events, a woman of color is the likeliest outcome.

Biden will probably pick one of the following: Warren, Kamela Harris, Stacey Abrams, Keisa Lance Bottoms (mayor of Atlanta), Val Demings (House rep and former Police Chief), and Tammy Duckworth. The Gov. of Michigan may be a choice too, but I doubt it.

Still mostly undecided. Will probably end up voting for Jo.

And even if that was actually possible, I think she's polarizing enough inside the D party that picking her would be a Sarah Palin-level blunder.

Jo for now, but maybe abstain on the presidential ballot. Jo is not a strong candidate. The LP does a pretty terrible job selecting candidates for POTUS.

THat list alone gives Trump a 8-10 % bump in every poll

Saw an article the other day, I think Politico maybe, that referred to Warren as a "woman of color".

Is that a typo, or have we gone that far overboard on "identify as...."?

Abrams is a joke.  Kamala is fake as hell.  Warren is a polarizing commie.  And Gov. Whitmer is rather fascist in her own right.

The other 3 are decent choices.

If it gives him an 8-10% bump Trump would then only be basically tied with Biden....based off the current national polling average....

I agree Bottoms, Demings, and Duckworth are decent choices. Yeah, Abrams has zero experience in an office, Kamala is fake, plus has a lot of haters/ baggage. Gov Whitmer is a lightening rod of the right, so no upside there. I've been really impressed by Demings over the last month or so.

You guys have to be kidding me if you think those choices are "decent".

"Decent" is an upgrade over what we currently have.

Yea sure, those picks would be able to ramp up the economy to record levels, have the experience to stand up to crappy trade deals, get massive amounts of legislation done, appoint a good supreme court, record and after record on the stock market, employment records for every group in the US.

Yea sure, whatever.

I was going to vote Trump simply to vote against the left.

But the past week or so I've been seriously considering JoJo. She's stopped the "we must be anti-racist" critical race theory bullfuckery, which really was a turn off for me, and has gotten back on her original message.

For a “far right cesspool echo chamber” this site has a lot more Biden and Jo voters than I would have ever thought!

If my vote mattered, I'd have to consider that given I think the Dems might very well take the Senate.  The only true bad outcome of this election is the Dems controlling the House, Senate and WH (possibly with President Kamala in the very near future).

But I refuse for that vote to be improperly interpreted as an endorsement of the giant twitter baby.

So, yes, I happily get to vote JoJo with a clean conscientious.
