Obviously many people tried to make the best of a situation that had many unknowns.  We get that.  What is remarkable though, is that the bureaucrats and ‘scientists’ were sooooo wrong, in some instances, completely.  And the guidelines that resulted therefrom were then subsequently incorrect, in a rather disastrous magnitude.

Trump demanding churches be opened. I know they can't stay closed forever but is there a worse place to be right now than a packed church? Not sure how social distancing is even possible.

They should receive 0 government aid.  They do fine without tax dollars. When an org/business/etc is donating millions of dollars to support campaigns of a political party, they do not need federal (or state) assistance.  This goes for any org receiving government aid.

It's crazy to me how most people are ok with this or don't give a shit.

It honestly blows my mind that people get so pissed off about not being able to meet at a church building.  Split up and meet in homes, like the early church did.  It'll be an exercise in reliving church during the Roman Empire.

Having said that, I oppose force, so people should be allowed to use the buildings if they choose to.

Yeah, I don't really get why people are okay with any organization which still charges patrons receiving federal or state aid while donating to political parties.

Then again, I think the same can probably be said of companies with government contracts.

Just do a wedding ceremony every Sunday and you can have 300 people at your church
