Saw some buzz on Twitter but haven’t looked much into it. The few mentions of shortages I saw were all in NC.

I’m sure it’ll fuck with gas prices because everything else seemingly does.

Things are great right now and definitely headed the right direction.

Should we invest in Tesla?

Went to 2 gas stations this morning and both were empty.  Not sure how my 15 mile commute is going to go after today. My wife got some at Costco yesterday so I might try that after today, but I won't hold my breath.

Not sure if you are serious as unless you are near empty, you should be fine for a 15 mile commute...

Also, this is just a minor disruption. The market and industry can handle shocks like this.

never miss an opportunity to profit off of a cris. no matter how big or small it is.

if it's not a crisis, treat it like it is and profit anyway.

I forgot to put I only have 50 miles or so to empty. So once I get home that'll be down to 40 or so. I'm good for today and will look at a few other stations closer to my house that might have less volume.

This problem will of course be exacerbated by people buying way too much or buying it when they don’t need it.

Put it in the garage next to their 10 year supply of Covid toilet paper.

Paid $2.45ish a month ago, up to $2.70-$2.85 currently depending on station. I ended up getting gas in a less traveled area so all good for a couple of weeks. Saw some pictures of our Costco online that had over 10 cars waiting in each lane and then the Spinx I got my gas at around 3:30pm was down to 3 pumps of 93 only by 9pm.

Not if you got a bunch of plastic bags full of extra gas in the back of your vehicle.

Green bags for 94 octane, black for 89 and white for 87.  Then you can mix and match to get the best out of your engine.

Haha I’m doing Columbus to Dallas starting to think we’re fucked as my mother in law said she tried 8 gas stations in Kentucky before she found some

Won’t the gasoline eat through the plastic?
