Polling looks pretty even. Who do you think wins? I'm not including Travis Irvine (https://irvineforohio.com/), even though he'll be getting my vote. My guess is that Cordray eeks out a win and my ultra-Repub friends and family will be blaming third-party voters just like my ultra-Dem friends did when Hillary lost.

I saw a commercial where women claimed Cordray treated them badly at work. As I understand it, I'm morally obligated to believe them, right?
I detest both candidates, and will vote for Robert Irvine.

Travis.
I know. Interesting background, a Libertarian who worked with a guy who teaches you how to get some of that free government money.

Woof. That's pretty bad Ohio. Both are meh. I've never liked Dewine, going back to the 90s.
Man, if the current Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) ran in Ohio, he would probably win by 30-40 points. But, since he is in Maryland, he may only win by 15-20.

I always disliked the word "gubernatorial".
Goober.
It's certainly fitting in this race.

DeWine is one of the few in politics who is a thoroughly good human being, and has done a lot of good work in a lot of areas. He is quite easily the good choice for Ohio. No need to even delve into the radical ideology of the opponent, an obama-era, regulating bureaucrat.
You’ve made it more than clear that you have disdain for career politicians - except for the ones you are personal pals with - in which case they are “thoroughly good human beings”.
And never mind the the fact that, like his opponent, Cordray’s been a career politician for ~ 30 years. How then that makes him an “Obama-era” is hard to see.
You out may have more confirmation bias than just about anyone I can think of. I recommend the book Factfulness. It may help you see the world from someone else’s perspective once in awhile.

I voted for Dewine. Not because I like him or dislike Cordray. He was simply the first one listed lol
