Iran and other countries that have terrorized the world is asking for a sanction to be lifted.
Countries that have spent years killing and supporting terrorists are now asking for help.

I feel sorry for the people but until the people understand what their leaders have done, and they bring down the leadership of terrorist mentality.
The price of freedom is high but the rewards are great in the world.

My answers is; Hell no! America Friendly nations comes first .... get the back of the line. Humanitarian my arss, your leadership should have thought of this humanitarian action when killing and supporting terrorist acts against innocent people.

Iran supposedly has a person dying every 10 minutes from this. See Spock's above for my feelings. Also lol' when I saw that Iran was willing to help the US fight this virus because of our "subpar healthcare system."

Sanctions don't really work....basically all they accomplish is starving and killing innocent people.

We don't want to want to befriend Iran. That'd offend our close friend Saudi Arabia - home of more terrorists who've murdered Americans than all other Middle Eastern countries combined.

I actually don't know what you are referring to, but what does this have to do with you defending Iran?  Fuck Iran (and fuck NK too if that makes you feel better with your strawman).  I feel bad for their people, but their regime is a pile of shit.  They can go fuck themselves.  I wouldn't lift any sanctions or send them any help.  They have proven time and time again they don't deserve help from US resources.  They go on national television chanting death to america and now want to try to perpetuate a useful idiot talking point from China, that the US is to blame for the virus outbreak.  Yeah, they can fuck off.

Also this.  The US is in no position to help anybody.  I just hope all these countries we have aided for decades and racked up debt will be willing to help the US if needed.  I hope everyone pays close attention to see who helps us, because it will show many of them never and still don't deserve aid from the US. 

If the sanctions are specifically stopping medicine or testing, then yes, they should be opened for that specific reason and only that reason.

But, there are carve out areas in sanctions anyways for NGOs and global heath organization to assist countries in times of need. The WHO and Red Crescent can already help out without the lifting of sanctions. 

However, if they are asking for a blanket lifting, nah. They need to change their behavior first or ask other countries for help.

I'm not defending Iran and I don't think we should be helping anyone until we are out of the woods ourselves which appears to be sometime away right now.  The thread was basically saying f-Iran.  I agree that the Iranian government and leadership is not good.  The point was made that they are evil because they sponsor terrorists.  My point was that we should have this exact attitude toward Saudi Arabia - home to more terrorists who've attacked us than Iran by far.  Instead, we have been treating them like an ally for decades much to our detriment.  F- Iran?  Fine.

Yep

One good thing that may come out of this is a revolution in Iran.  They're leadership has shown a lot of cracks in the past year.  With the virus going the way it has there, maybe this will be the straw that broke the camel's back.  Just so long as the mullahs aren't replaced more hateful Muslims.  

If given time, I could probably come up with a million or so things more important to be thinking about in our current situation than Iran and how they feel about sanctions and shit. You want to portray yourself as an adversary, don't be surprised when you're not treated like a friend when things aren't going your way.
