Start off with those people are idiots. But saying GOP leader is a bit much, it is a country seat, and the actual state leaders condemned it immediately. That said the psycho who was ranting on facebook about it should be fired.

Living in central Alabama, the reasoning being used to oust him sounds very familiar.  I hear thinks about Muslims frequently.  They are always baseless and without any evidence to back it up.  I is like when the Irish came and some people feared they would take over and make the US a Catholic state beholden to Rome.
