I don't really look at this thread often so this is a week or so late to the discussion, but...
DeSantis is about the only name out there that one, has a shot at winning the Presidency, and two, isn't a complete moron. Who can the Dems run that can beat him? He's a prototypical politician so I'd never fully trust him, but I think he knows how to play the game better than Trump ever did. He's not perfect (only Thomas Massie is so that's unfair (this is a joke, but only kinda)), but he's the clearcut top choice IMO.
A lot can happen by 2024, but I currently can't really see any dem that would hang with Desantis, especially in a debate. The media will do their best to protect the dem candidate, but as you said Desantis and his team know how to play the game.

I thought we impeached presidents for things like this.
Depends on which letter comes after their name. Hopefully moderate ptown will be supportive of an impeachment, since he is fair and balanced.

No one is above the law, except the leftists in congress, the WH and all their benefactors.
Bullshit. Herschel Walker will arrest any of those people if that's where his investigations lead.

Lefties would still vote for this mess over any conservative, which is sad

To be fair, the GOP has done nothing to make them a viable party to control the Government. Right now their only appeal is that they aren't the Dems.
I do hope they take the house and senate though. I rather just have gridlock for the majority of my life, and anything to block radical leftist judges.

Maybe the Rs should try to find better candidates than a quack TV doctor to oppose stroke dude, since it seems that with a lot of these notable races, it's less a "the other side has a good candidate, but I'm picking my side no matter what" situation and more along the lines of "both these people suck, so which idiot gets the nod".
Exactly my point the post above yours. GA and PA should have been easily winnable seats. The best they could do was Dr. Oz and Walker? SMH.
