BTW, whatever you did to post that tweet has completely broken quote tweets, reps and negs, post edit and delete, on this page of this thread. Just a heads up that I'm going to be editing it in the database to fix the issue.

Twitter has spoken and you'd be wise to heed it's message!

They can try but they will fail. I’m not turning in shit regardless of potential penalty.

The dummies in the house barely passed this today, which has no chance in the Senate. The only thing this does is make vulnerable Dems more vulnerable. But hey, why not?

Credit card debt has increased $100B (20%) in the past year.

Given current employment numbers, along with inflation and rising interest rates, that is big fat canary in the coal mine.

Have to say, that is one of the more alarming economic numbers I've seen in a while.  If this recession/stagflation continues much longer, that could have a huge cascading effect.  Probably nothing like the Great Recession, but let's say something similar to the Dotcom bubble.

They talked about "over the horizon" capability when they justified pulling out of Afghanistan.

Validated.

You’re not skeptical of the FBI at all?

My problem is I am skeptical of the feds and skeptical of Trump.

If it is only about records for the National Archives, then this is a historic fuck up by the justice department.  But I guess we'll have to wait and see, although the AG should already have advised the public today.

I think there are about three possibilities:

1) This is one of several charges they plan to pile on

2) This is an unprecedented raid for the purposes of a fishing expedition

3) Midterms <3 months away and this will fire-up the fake news mill at the usual suspects

2 and 3, of course, are not mutually exclusive.  But there's unlikely to be any further official comment, and the raid presumably would have been limited to WH documents.  However, that will facilitate daily/weekly salacious stories citing "unnamed sources" about unrelated incriminating evidence found (which was likely excluded from said warrant).

I guess a 4th possibility is they're going after any felony charge they can find to stop him from running.  But it's unclear to me if this would be a felony, and even if so whether that prevents him from running.

Why you say that? You know a former  President cannot remove classified material as they leave.

Hell,Republicans blasted Sandy Berger for doing the same.

Or 5, maybe let's the investigation play out and let's see how serious or political it is.

We know nothing about why they were there, so it is all conjecture.
