Anyone following this story? After a CIA briefing, seems like Graham and other senators are saying there’s no way Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman did not order (or at least knew it was happening) the death of the American journalist in turkey.
Will the Saudi’s finally be held accountable for something? Or will we continue on once again like nothing happened?

Probably not unfortunately. The saudis can go fuck themselves. It is also ridiculous that the briefing was limited to a small group of Senators.

As Trump has said, nothing will be done about it. If anyone questions how Saudi Arabia feels about the US, just look at the roster of the 9/11 hijackers. 15 of the 19 came from the kingdom. Saudi Arabia is not our friend and is not a country we should support or do business with. That may cost us some in our economy, but I believe we could work without them in the long run if we chose. Instead of selling them military equipment, we need to ensure our plan to take on the Saudis is always up to date and trained for. This prince is a snake masqurading as a reformer.

Oh I think the prince knew exactly what was going to happen to that journalist. Whether he gave the actual command to have the guy killed can be disputed. But in my mind, he didn't use his position to put a stop to it regardless and as such is as guilty as Charles Manson.
I also think that the US needs to start dismantling its relations with SA. How far it should take it and how quickly? I don't know. People who follow foreign policy much more closely than I do would have better judgement than me.

For better or worse, we're in bed with the kingdom, and there isn't a reasonable or feasible way to extricate ourselves.
Why do you say this? I don' think it is true. I believe we can extricate ourselves from business with Saudi Arabia. Continuing only funds a state that is backward as can be and with many citizens who hate the US to a point where they are willing to die over it. A horrible country to consider and ally.

I think I might be the only one that doesnt care about this? Its terrible that the guy got taken out but for the US media to stand on this guys grave to make a political point is stupid. 1,000 US citizens get murdered in Chicago a year and dont hear about that. This guy was not a citizen. Not sure why he gets all this attention. Our government takes out people all over the world. We shouldnt throw stones in our glass house.
You're always talking about "our government takes people out all over the world" or "our government meddles in elections all the time",. I'm not denying those things may happen. I have no idea. But I am very curious as to where you get your insight. Are you former CIA or something. Otherwise, just saying something doesn't make it so.
