It bottles my mind how people can be so far "left."  I guess the same stands for "right."  How belief systems get that far out of whack is beyond my comprehension.

I don't think I have ever seen a Chick Fil A not busy during prime eating hours (except Sunday).

It's quite the blur these days.  I have friends, who I would consider true liberals (actually most of my friends are), but unfortunately like most people in this country it's either team democrat or team republican.  Principles be damned as long as your team wins or in some cases they legitimately believe this country would be a utopia if the Democrats had full control.

Here are two beliefs I have:

  1. There is an unwritten competition between "woke" people to outdo everyone in terms of finding offense.  Somewhere in a college "gender" studies meeting room, there is a group sitting around a table saying, "Listen, if this thing with Chik-fil-A at KU goes off successfully, we've got to be prepared to step up.  I propose we go with our "Hot Dogs in the Cafeteria are Masochistic" campaign launch tomorrow.
  2. Chik-fil-A is delicious.

I thought you were going to go somewhere with the idea that hot dogs are too representative of the oppression of a patriarchal society.

Because, you know ...

... wieners.

I like that.  I meant to say hot dogs are misogynist, but you get my point.  Regardless, there is offense being given there.
