bulldog8Good luck to the Poland Bulldogs......What a pleasant surprise after the switch from jjhuddle to the freehuddle; the forum boxes are outlined in Poland blue instead of that awful red
-
Cmhs74I kind of liked the red.............Best of luck to the Bulldogs this week, beat Hoban.
-
bulldog8I have absolutely nothing against the red. My college's colors are red and black so i've come to love them too. This is just more suited for my true colors of Poland.
-
CardsFlyinHighlol i loved the red, oh well. Good Luck Poland, your brothers down the road are behind you
-
Columbus CardGood Luck to the Dogs this week!
-
bulldog8Cardsflyinghigh.....best of luck to your Canfield Cardinals this weekend as well. Show MLC how tenacious that defense of yours really is.
Columbuscard.....best of luck to Mooney, but I have a good feeling that they won't be needing it Hopefully you and I will be chatting about potential matchups next week. -
pbuckHoban in a tight hard fought battle IMO
-
bulldog8pbuck.....I agree that this game will be a very hard fought battle and come down to the wire. Unfortunately, I really don't think Hoban presents Poland with much they haven't seen before. Everyone says the beef of Hoban's team is their strong defense and their defensive ends, but Poland has already gone up against two very good defenses in Canfield and Steubenville. I want to say that the experience of playing Steubenville, Hubbard, Howland, and Canfield this year will pay off for the Dogs, but I just have a strange feeling in this one. Everyone thinks Poland is the favorite, but i'm kind of worried that their luck might run out this week.
-
tigers05Good Luck to Poland from the Howland supporters! Nice to see u guys joinin me over here!
-
BigYtownRedPlay 48 minutes of football this week Bulldogs & I think you will enjoy the outcome. Definitely a tough team that you are playing but you have the horses (dogs ) to get the job done if you play for 48 minutes.
I miss the red but like blue so I can live with it. How about a nice Toupe or Perriwinkle
Go Dogs

4cards^^^^^^
No soup (red or blue) for you! -
bulldog8It's great to see some of the same huddle names making the transition. It looks like the member total is increasing every time I come on and I continue to expect it to do so as people realize they no longer have access on JJ. I guess now we will make the "freehuddle" the next bumping high school football forum
-
PSHSfanGlad to see everyone kept their same screen names from JJ lol
Good luck Bulldogs!
I'm still getting acclimated over here.. Are there places for the scores to be posted and game dialog or will that be on this thread come Friday night? -

-
bulldog8Game day Dogs.....stay focused, get the job done, and extend the season one more week!
-
PenguinPowerPoland 10 Hoban 7. Field goal in last 20 seconds wins it for the Dogs.
next up - Mooney -
Mooney44CardsSomebody get the Poland AD a new pair of pants as I'm sure he just wet himself after seeing who's on the schedule next week.
As for the coaches and players, nothing but respect from me, I know they'll show up to play. Just a shame that it took til 2009 for these 2 teams to finally meet on the gridiron. No more dodging us! -
CardsFlyinHighGreat win Poland, represent the AAC well next week, go Dogs
-
bulldog8^^mooney44cards.....These two schools have not played in any sports in recent years for numerous reasons that go beyond an AD's willingness to schedule. You might remember years back in basketball, shortly after Brandon Beachum transferred from Poland to Mooney, Mooney parents were irate with Poland because their student section did a "white out" as the theme....It was a take off on Penn State's student section theme, but many parents were claiming on the huddle that this was an act of racism....Also, the incident 4 years ago outside the testing center of the ACT (college admission exam) - a Poland student was jumped by 4 Mooney students and hospitalized with bleeding within his skull. The animosity between these two schools, numerous fights, and disagreements between parents led to the athletic directors agreeing that these two schools would not meet on the field in any sport during the regular season and would only play if it came down to the playoffs. These two schools just don't like each other and I think that will be evident this Friday. Discrepancies between these two schools were the fault of both school's students, not just one. I'm in no way pointing the finger at Mooney saying their kids are bad kids and that's why Poland refused to schedule them, i'm just saying it was an intelligent decision on both athletic director's part to avoid any possible altercations.

Drums of WarWow, had never heard that story. Sounds like a very good decision by the ADs. Good luck Bulldogs from your former playoff foes.
