  I was wrong---------I really thoght Coffman would win---------the radio guys made it sound like Coffman had wide open receivers who were just plain missed-------Miller from Elder won't miss------or fumble--------------If Davidson rules the clock and gets a couple breaks they can hang with Elder-------they will fill their side of the stadium and part of yours--------have fun!!--------

  There are plenty of HSF fans in central ohio in the OCC alone if people came to support the team from the area there wouldn't be room for them on "our" side. It would be nice to see a great turn out, but you are right OneT, they will, it happens every time we go to Dayton, and it happened in Canton. I must say it is kinda cool tho to see there faces as we pound it up the middle and they can't stop it, then we get 4th and short on a crucial play I'll look over and tell them watch this, power I up the middle. It happened against Colrain and Mentor. It happened against the X in '05 we lost that game but you could feel the sigh of relief their fans had, almost kinda in shock, we had a great chance to win that game and they knew it. Come on OCC and Central ohio fans show up and support. If only they would that would be cool. GO CATS!!!! BEAT ELDER!!!!

  The one thing that makes it hard even for really good teams out of the area, actually harder for them cuz they don't see us 2 times a year like DC or UA or whoever. Is that nobody does what we do on O, it's very difficult to get ready for this O, you must play disciplined assignment D, and you have 1 week to get ready for it, if you don't, it could be trouble. HD is peaking at the right time. This could be fun. One game at a time. GO CATS!!!! BEAT ELDER!!!!

  Don't know anything about them..but I do believe they were up 21-0 last night against a good Anderson team..so they obviously have some talent..somehow they let Anderson back in the game though..but all night..it really wasn't as close as the score made it seem.

  Go to Youtube.com----punch in Elder Football----lots of video from last years Elder/PC game---the QB and some others are back this year----they're wide open and pass alot----We had them down 10-7 with the ball in the red zone at one point------Davidsons style might stymie them-------tough one to call-----------

  I watched Elder vs. Col. DeSales on ONN. DeSales had them beat. They fumbled going in for a TD and then the refs did the rest, major blown calls favoring Elder. They are very beatable. Cinny football really overrated this year. Glenville is the real deal.

  If you have Time Warner I was told they are on the On Demand Channel.Ch.411. I was told last night they Passed about 60% of the time,but the QB does not run.

  Congrats to the Cats! Nice, convincing win over the Shamrocks. Thanks to Coach Crabtree for providing some motivational video for HD to use last week. Nothing like using the vision of DC dancing in the middle of HD's field and taunting the team after their regular season win, or QB2 raising his arms in the air to get the DC crowd into things.

  Hey thanks to everyone for the info on checkin out some Elder footage, thanks to capcitypreps too thats pretty cool to have you monitoring these threads and giving info, thanks. Wow giving up 350 yards rushing. ridgerunner says Desalles had them beat, hope Coach White gets that film from his friends at Desalles. Man just watched the Desalles Elder footage on bliptv, if they defend the run next saturday the way they did against Desalles a DIII team, and give up 350 like against Anderson who just moved up from DII, I'm not gonna say anything else but that. FOCUS! GO CATS!!!! BEAT ELDER!!!!

  I really like Davidson's chances in this one. Elder is a great team, but if Davidson is healthy they can play with anyone in the state. IMO.

  Sounds like we have 2 "bend but don't break defenses" going at it this weekend! I watched some of the videos that other posters have offered and I see a pretty evenly matched game with specific advantages to each team as follows: Elder has an edge if they pass as good as they look. Not saying that will kill HD but it definitely plays to the weaker part of HD's defense. Davidson may have an edge with it's up the gut running game. Elder appears to give up a lot of ground there (or at lest in the videos I reviewed) and that certainly plays into the strength of the Davidson O.
  
  Should be a good one. I don't think either team's fans will be leaving too early in this one. The game will be in the balance with 2 minutes remaining I predict.
  
  As was pointed out, Brian White (to the dismay of many fans) never changes his game plan. Now that doesn't mean he doesn't adjust, but that usually consists of "taking what the defense gives him".
