Okay Howland fans, we've had a couple of days to shake off that disappointing loss to Ashland, I for one was very impressed with the Tigers ability to shutdown the potent Ashland aerial attack for most of the game. This being done with good pressure on the QB and the young DB's taking away the Ashland QB's first read most of the night. The offensive line once again showed that they have the ability to open up running room for the backs. It was encouraging to see the team hang in there and dominate without Mangiarelli, perhaps a glimpse of what we may expect next year. Devion Smith and Nielan did a great job - it would have been great to have Mangiarelli's speed in the game probably would have broken 1 - 2 long runs. I for one want to congratulate the Tigers for a great season and tell the under classman to reload for next year.
What are your thoughts regarding next year? I believe the schedule is changing with addition of Harding and Lakeview.
