The Beast of the North goes down!
-
Go_Fast_SportsWe have a new beast in the North... Cleveland Glenville!
Their defense was incredible.... 8 turnovers by Iggy and each ended up leading to a score for Glenville.
4 Interceptions for All American Latwan Anderson! Wow! -
GoChiefsAnderson was a monster tonight!!!
-
CincyRedRiderGlenville, I thought prep schools couldn't be in the playoffs. lol
-
Go_Fast_SportsI'm telling ya, that defense has turbo boost. Anderson came from half way across the field to pick that one.
-
coyotes22Iggy just had a bad night.
Glenville is still over rated!!!!
-
GoChiefsWow..when the thread title says 'Beast of the North goes down'..I thought for sure your response would be.."Massillon didn't lose" Lol
-
coyotes22Im not that conceded!!!!
-
CardsFlyinHighGlenville has a tendency in the playoffs to lose games their expected to win and win games their expected to lose.

newarkcatholicfanI picked Iggy to win state but am more than happy to see I was wrong because I wanted C.G. to win this one.

As a poster, I really don't care what team you root for (I know a lot of others give you a hard time because of Newark Catholic). But how do you choose what teams you root for? Is it programs you like? Is it the players? Communities? Just asking out of curiousity.newarkcatholicfan wrote: I picked Iggy to win state but am more than happy to see I was wrong because I wanted C.G. to win this one. -

I have always read every score in the paper and then when I got a job traveling all over the state I started paying attention to certain teams all over the state. From there I would go and watch them and play. I am the type of fan that always roots for a team if I am at a game and if I am paying attention to a game I always pick a team. This makes it more exciting to me.HeathAlum21 wrote:

As far as the Newark Catholic thing I use to tell both stories that turned me into a Newark Catholic fan but that lead to several PM'S that made me stop doing it.
I usually do not try and cause any one grief even though it might appear that way. -
HeathAlum21I was just curious. When I go to games that I don't have a personal tie to(ie not in the MSL or Licking County), I find myself rooting for the team that has the better crowd. The crowds make the games much more enjoyable.
-
newarkcatholicfanI have been to games where the road team has had as few as five fans.
I do agree a big, loud crowd makes it so much better.
Making as many friends as I have over the years with all my travels makes it easy to follow certain teams but makes it so hard when they play each other. -
ManO'WarI enjoyed watching this game on STO. Glenville put the smack down!
-
dont_belong^^^^ yeah great game by the Glenville defense.
