Well, well, well. Where is our resident expert now? I guess the ENTIRE BULLDOG COACHING STAFF was outcoached last night. Must be the lack of preparation on Ron Johnson's part. No scapegoat needed for Massillon this time.camaraguy wrote: Ok excuse me let me specify since you want to be technical when I say past Mass McK games I mean past years...See here is the thing, I'm not protecting anybodies players since you obviously have mistaken me for a "FAN" I'm just a guy who has seen a lot of football and I just call it how I see it, and Three weeks ago the ENITRE TIGER COACHING STAFF was outcoached. If a team is out played on any given day USUALLY it is due to lack of preparation, which lies on the hands of the HEAD COACH, whose job it is to prepare his coaching staff as well as his players, and if you want to use the SCAPEGOAT of the Dogs sneaking the Tigers the first time around that's fine too, but either way there is going to be some head knocking going on and I can't wait to see it
Had to be a lack of preparation...couldn't have been the execution. I'm sure the McKinley coaching staff worked hard this past week on the QB overthrowing his receivers and having their receivers dropping passes or having them hit them in the chest...right between the numbers and not catching them. No doubt that was the coaching staff's fault.
By the way...Jason Hall and the ENTIRE MASSILLON COACHING STAFF...OUTCOACHED McKINLEY'S COACHING STAFF LAST NIGHT. I'm sorry...I must have missed your post that you mentioned that. -
skankI really liked the game plan last night, that, matched with the intensity of the kids, and the nice pass/run ratio was the factor, but....I have to ask this question. With little over 7 minutes left in the game, Massillon had a 3 point lead and the ball, and Mckinley had only one timeout, why were we at the LOS when the ref was spotting the ball and starting the clock? We were then snapping the ball with like 17 seconds on the play clock. I mean, at that point, let's huddle up and snap the ball with like 4 seconds left on the play clock.

september63Anyone know what Coach Hall was yelling and pointing fingers at Coach Johnson about when they met midfield pior to the start of the game?

There is no love lost between Johnson and Hall. It started last year. There is no need to go into what happened, but I can assure you neither will be inviting the other over to their house for Thanksgiving dinner.september63 wrote: Anyone know what Coach Hall was yelling and pointing fingers at Coach Johnson about when they met midfield pior to the start of the game?
You have to know that Jason Hall is a BIG competitor and doesn't back down from anything. He is a straight up guy (like him or not), but if you do him wrong...he doesn't forget.
It might have had something to do with the McKinley players dancing and spitting on the "M" on the 50 yard line at PBTS last week after they beat GlenOak. I guess the coaches didn't try to stop them either.
Either that or maybe Jason was inviting him to Thanksgiving dinner. He'll have time...he won't be preparing for a game this week. -
september63Tells me nothing, but TY anyways. i could tell they didnt like one another. Just wondered what Sat was all about.

GoChiefsI just figured he was trying to point out exactly where the Superintendents were sitting.

coyotes22I just now got word, that Hall was telling Johnson AGAIN where the bathrooms were at!!!!!

Humpty DumptyDid anyone else get the feeling they were watching an Ohio State game last night? I watched the Buckeyes at noon and saw the Offense do just enough to win, but put pressure on the Defense all afternoon with 3 and outs and poor field position. In the end they won, but very nail biting.
Then I go to the game and see the same thing from the Tigers. Very conservative play calling...for the most part. Then poor field position and the Defense came to the rescue. I'm not complaining, but I don't know if my heart can keep this up. -
tank2nastyHall was showing him the quickest way outta infocision so that Johnson could avoid being booed by his own fans!
That Coach Hall; always looking out for his coaching brethren! -
ZWICK 4 PREZHall was pissed b/c John Georges provided subs for the Massillon players and Johnson snuck onto the bus and ate their subs.

You're Welcome!! As much as I would like to argue with you about our QB trying to help McK out...I can't. He does however seem to get the job done. Some decisions are questionable, but he is a great kid.McKAlumni07 wrote: hey sorry for the absence this week.... jus had a rough one.... we all know how that goes.... that game was fun and i would like to thank your QB for attempting to let us win =)... it was a nice gesture.... that stadium was sweet though.. having never been there man was it bigger than i thought
This is a little of the pot and kettle thing isn't it? Your QB DID help Massillon win. Thanks for that.
You're right about the stadium...SWEET!! Nice venue to watch a game.
