We are developing a rivalry with Perry if we keep meeting in the Championship game.
You should schedule Perry in wrestling, their recruiting in wrestling is on par with yours in football.

I have zero ties to these teams, but the best rivalry in Ohio high school football is between Piqua and Troy.

In the nation, the greatest rivalry is Norwich Free Academy and New London HS in Connecticut, though a good candidate in would be Concord De LaSalle and Long Beach Polly out in California.

As for Massillon rivalries, the only one worth mentioning is the one with McKinley, though that is a great, very storied rivalry that is fun to watch (I've admittedly only seen it once in person, but I'm told every game is great).

    Googling rivalries huh? Lol.

Connecticut football compared to Ohio football?

    You're confusing longevity with quality.

No. I'm weighting tradition over level of play. Both Massillon and McKinley obviously play a higher level of football than four of the six teams I mentioned (De LaSalle and Polly have been nationally ranked at times).

Also, I didn't Google a single one of those.

Had friends in college from the respective areas, sans Piqua and Troy, which I just knew about from following high school football in Ohio.

    Oh....So you're basing this on hearsay....Ok.

Well we certainly looked it up at the time.

So fine. I Googled it. Back in about 2005.

gosh a game between two real state champ that is worthy of adoration. Something Massillon has never been part of in its football history.

You REALLY need to do something about your writing. Or, as you would say...."about you writing."

Yes. The this. Back in 2005, the this.

From the guy who brought us "the this."

    From....

"I didn't Google a single one of them."

    ALL the way to....

    "I googled it."

    See the discrepancy here? Lol.

I didn't kill those people your honor....I killed them back in '05.

When our conversation came up here, I already knew about all of them.

In fact, if we're going to these great lengths to try to find the loophole that you're looking for, I probably didn't 'Google' them in 2005. I probably searched on Yahoo or Ask.com.

    Wouldn't that be YOUR loophole?

Your initial implication was that I had to look something up for this thread. I did not.

When I first learned about them, which wasn't the result of an Internet search, I did subsequently search for them. You tried, poorly, to use this to justify my denial that I'd had to look them up.

    So no. Still yours.

But let me say how disappointed I am. You started this threads in an attempt to talk about the glory of your schools, but all you want to talk about is whether or not I Googled something.

You start a thread to talk about your team's rivalries ... one for you to talk about the great tradition behind these rivalries ... one for the great games in the rivalry's history ... to talk about the great NFL players that have come out of the rivalry ... to expound on the greatness of the Buckeyes and top 100 players coming out of it. Instead of telling stories of YOUR school, you want to talk about who Googled what (or, as the case was, Ask.com'd or Yahoo'd).

Let's take a step back, take a deep breath and concentrate on talking about the rivalry of YOUR school.

    Thanks.

Ok....I have a post with your name on it that says, "I googled it", but....Whatever.

I did talk about my schools rivalries in posts #1 and again in post #3, if there is an actual specific moment in any of Massillon's rivalries you would like to hear about, simply ask and I will tell all.

Could you tell us more about our rivalry with St. John's Ontario?

I know you won't answer this, but why did you pick St. John's?

I mean we have played Moeller, Ignatius, Lakewood St. Edward, Warren Harding, Canton McKinley, Mentor, Elder. Not many schools have scheduled all of those schools, and I would say that no school our size has scheduled those schools, yet you choose to sarcastically pick out St. John's?

Not to mention the schools that only call when they think they have the class of a lifetime....The Massillon Perry's, the Dover's, the Dayton Chaminade's, the Benedictine's.

You could have picked any of those schools....Why St. John's?

I already know about the Ohio schools that you mentioned. In fact, we dropped most of them so that we could add St. John's Ontario to the schedule. I know that we would never duck teams, so they must be an amazing team. You said to "simply ask and I will tell all."
