Anyone top this? -
skankDoubt it, that's pretty impressive. I think McKinley has a pretty similar list. Warren could probably come fairly close.
-
chiefy jonesGeezy weezy, nobody wants to chime in and compare their schools NFL'ers to Massillons? Isadork? stuperman? Earnest T Bass? Anyone?
-
chiefy jonesThis list is why we have 26 State and 9 National Championships folks....
-
thavoiceAnd still not a championship on the field. So disappointing
-
chiefy jonesGeezy weezy, where did they play the games then?
Care to chime in on the NFL'ers from your school?
I have a spare 3 seconds to read it. -
skankStill waiting voice.
NFL'ers from your school?
State Championships from your school?
National Championships from your school?
Stadium?
Indoor?
Uniforms?
Tradition?
Books?
Movies?
Ya can't touch this brah. -

6 real titles trumps whatever you can throw out there with all home grown talent thst lived writhin mere 5 or so miles from the school. Get bsck to me when Massillon gets their first.....and the baseball team can hold its own as well... -
chiefy jonesSo....No?
Lol, didn't think so. -
chiefy jonesIt's sad that nobody is smart enough to know who the NFL'ers from their school are.
-

recently had one who was on the roster of 3 diff nil teams but I still prefer real state titles. Get bsck to me when mass finally gets onechiefy jones;1859114 wrote:So....No?

skankI was talking to a guy from Canton CC, I mentioned Alan Page being a CCC grad. He had no idea that AP was from
there. -
chiefy jonesThen I'll leave it open, maybe some of our enthusiastic but slower posters are doing their research.
-
skankYeah but that could take years.
-
chiefy jonesPeople either already know, or have finished their research, either way....It's obvious that the results have embarrassed them enough that they don't want to put it out there in public.
-
chiefy jonesAnything yet?
Anyone? -
the_beezerWapak has had only Mike Hammerstein

Dr Winston O'BoogieThis is a terribly sad thread. Chiefy, your list is impressive in length, no doubt about it. But as Massilon fan, you have to be depressed for the fact that most all of that success is more than 40 years old. Had they retired the football program back then, you'd have a cool thing to throw out there. But the fact is they have been fielding teams with far, far less success in the decades since.
-
chiefy jones#1) ok, then we have 7 guys who have "made it" inside of 40 years. Still better than most.
#2) "far far less success in the decades since." True....But the bar was set higher than any other school had set it. What school HAS surpassed what Massillon has set?
In the, "decades since", Massillon has had more success than most schools.
#3) where's YOUR list? -
Al Bundy
This thread is about individual success, not team success. Our combine has helped us to bring in great individuals. I expect two of our recent recruits to make it big in the NFL. The lineman that we brought in from Cincinnati is considered one of top freshman in the country. The QB that we brought in from Perry looks great. Both of them should be stars in the NFL.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1860265 wrote:This is a terribly sad thread. Chiefy, your list is impressive in length, no doubt about it. chiefy jonesI can't argue any of that Weird Al. Could you imagine a QB in Perry's system making the NFL? Great decision by the Massillon to bring him ov....ER....I mean, great decision by the kid and his family to make the move. The Munford decision benefitted all, at LaSalle where nobody was willing to help the kid, he was stagnant....At Massillon he thrived, brought his grades up and got Urbans attention. Had he stayed at LaSalle where nobody gave a ship about him, who knows?
This just proves that kids WANT to play at Massillon. -

What the hell is this? Read the intro again. Many did not attend or graduate from IMG but trained there. So this list is about as impressive as a parochial schools state championships....Not very.mcburg93;1860280 wrote:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IMG_Academy_alumni -

Terribly sad? Gimme a break. Success is success, there is no expiration date on success.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1860265 wrote:This is a terribly sad thread. Devin Jordan is a great example, who believes he gets a full ride scholarship the THE Ohio State University had he stayed at Perry? With Wakefield throwing the ball like 4-7 times a game?chiefy jones;1860282 wrote:I can't argue any of that Weird Al. Could you imagine a QB in Perry's system making the NFL?
