Nick Saban makes recruiting trip to Massillon

  Saban knows that Alabama needs better players to compete with Clemson, so he has made a recruiting trip to Massillon. Alabama could really become something if they can get a few Massillon kids.

  Saban gets more requests to speak than he has days available. It comes down to recruiting with the requests that he accepts.

  Alabama has only been 3-2 in the playoff era. They haven't been as successful as Ohio State and Clemson. Saban is recruiting Massillon to be able to compete with the top programs in the country.

  There are 3 or 4 Massillon kids that if they skipped their Jr. and Sr years of high school could go to Alabama and start right now.

  I watched some of Alabama's spring game today, and it became clear why Saban has been recruiting Massillon so hard. Alabama hasn't been at the level of Ohio State and Clemson in the playoff era.

  So true my friend, if Nick can corral some Massillon kids....Watch out. Urban has rented an apartment near PBTS and will reportedly spend as much time there as possible.

  Again, you're correct. The last time he spoke, he spoke very highly of Massillon kids saying, "they (Massillon) have several kids who could start for us RIGHT NOW."

  Four, his paternal son, Thayer....And Mrs. Moore "has two buns in the over", yes....Twins. One a 6'6" 265 pounder and his twin brother a 6'1" 210 pounder.

  Not much time right now but here are a few quotes from coach Saban last night.
  
  "It's good to be back in Massillon the center of the high school football universe."
  
  "Massillon would have more state titles if the system wasn't rigged to HEAVILY favor the parochials."

  We will play anyone anywhere anytime. A few years ago we beat Canada 77-13. LaSalle struggled against Canada last year.
