St Eds put a beating on Hudson. I left at half.

Norwalk St Paul is like 15 mins from my house. I'm hoping to go watch their game. I'll go see the D1 game as well.

Saw Hudson's coach was throwing a fit about public vs private.

3 teams that are 15 minutes from me all made it, hope they all win but only Marion Local will bring home the hardware from The MAC>

I can't wait for the Marion Local/St Paul game. Not saying Marion Local wont win but don't count St Paul out.

MSML is pretty good, and when I say pretty good I mean freaking awesome.
Went to one of their games this year and saw 3-4 on TV. Main reason I even went to that one game was because I knew the 50/50 would be big. (It ended up being$6,508)

St Paul was in my conference when I graduated but weren't nearly as dominant as they are now. The lastI had heard, they were running some kind of "pass first" spread offense. Is that still the case?

Oh yeah that whole division is pretty good. Delphos was 4-6 and made the playoffs. Lol, but like I said I'm not saying St Paul will win, just don't think you can count them out. They are well coached and they beat Delphos 5 years ago for the state title.

Wait, where did you go to school? I'm pretty sure that is the offense they run now.

That conference got 6 teams in and only 1, DSJ, was beaten by a non conf foe. To be fair though, DSJ backed into the playoffs. There was only 6 teams in the whole region that had an above 500 mark. PEople were picking them as the 8 vs 1 upset and I was like, NO, this is not your avg DSJ team. They got in because their region was so,so bad and beat a 4 win DIII team and a 7 or 8 DV team in the OOC schedule. They were horrible in the conference, think scored more than 1 TD in just 2 league games..but I digress.

    MSML will roll.

We shall see, sir. I think I'm going to that game and the D1 game.

Black River. We were in the Firelands Conference for the longest time and then switched to a couple of different conferences long after I graduated. I remember St Paul & Monroeville being two of the first teams to really start slinging it. Most teams were ground & pound.

Ah yes, well that's cool to know. I went to New London. I don't have a clue which conference Black River is in now.
St. Paul has been the cream of the crop in the Firelands for most of the past 20 years. Monroeville was right up there until their coach retired a few years ago.

Played NL all throughout my high school career.

BR is in some confernce with teams like Keystone, Clearview, Firelands, Buckeye, etc now. I kind of kept tabs on them this year and their defense sucked ass. Saw one game where they won 72-55, or something like that. They game up 50+ more than a few times this year.

If they played at 3 I would go to that one before the 8pm game.
They are extremely tough with a smothering defense. There arent many sure things in sports, but this is as close as it gets.

Well damn, that's cool man. It's nice to know there is someone else from the same area on here. I actually got into an accident going to a basketball game at Black River, my senior year. Ha

I may be off on this but I'm pretty sure that Fab4runner is a Plymouth grad, or at least attended there.

Funny story, when I was in 7th grade, I wrestled in Jr High. My first match was against some guy from New London names "Souza" or "Sousa" (something like that). Dude looked like Hulk Hogan. We joked that he was on "prison release" for that match because he looked like he was in his mid-20's. He completely destroyed me.

I don't know where your accident was but people really have to be careful on that rolling hill road that leads to that school. It's a county road that isn't lit at all and there are Amish buggies traveling it all the time.

When my brother was 15, the dumbass stole my fathers truck to sneak off to see his girlfriend. He popped up over one of those hills on high school road and hit the back of an Amish buggy. Luckily, nobody was hurt. That's a VERY bad road. I tried to avoid it as much as possible.

It was right on County Road 40. It was winter time. I went over one hill, and there was a cow in the road, then I went about a mile up there road, went over another hill, and I noticed how thick the snow was on the road. I gently tapped my brakes and I hit them just enough to send me around in a circle before going in between two telephone poles and ending up on my side. My buddy said he looked in his rearview mirror and all he saw was a bunch of snow in the air. He along with the other vehicle of friends turned around and came back to check on me. They pushed the vehicle over and the cops/ambulance came. I was fine but sore as hell the next day.

Wow. You're lucky. Glad you are O.K. following that.
