Past AP Poll Champs
-
bases_loadedTrying to settle a bet, where can I find past Ohio AP poll champs in football?
-
skankWhat year do you need?
-
Gardens35On the OHSAA website www.ohsaa.org there's a real good article about the championship history. Go to the football page and click on "Looking back at the OHSAA Football Championships".
-
RedRider1^^Nice, but a simple listing of the poll champs would be so nice. Sounds like that guy has all the data needed to do that.

Or as funny as Hertler having a list of one way streets in Canton.
Or as funny as Pizza delivery guys having a list of North Canton football players addresses.
Or as funny as certain football players from Hoover having a list of various drugs they plan to take to the school dance.
Or as funny as Hertler having a list of Taxi services.
Or as funny as North Cantons AD having a list of excuses for not scheduling Massillon.
North Canton should be called the Dodgers instead of the Viqueens, er, I mean Vikings. -
coyotes22Never gets old!!!!!!

FairwoodKingI get kind of a kick out of seeing Steubenville called Wells. Massillon continued to call us that on their schedules well into the 1960's even though the old Wells High School burnt down in 1937. The new building that was opened in 1940 and recently renovated is simply called Steubenville High School.
-
Al BundyDidn't Massillon win the AP poll title in 1972 also?
-
skankYes
-
bases_loadedI am interested in division II and III in the last 10 years.

sherm031973 makes me laugh. Warren Western Reserve wins the AP Poll Title...yet, lost in the State Championship game to Mooney 14-3.
Just further proof that the AP Poll Titles aren't worth a whole heck of a lot...
Sorry skank, had to say it. -

The AP title didn't match up with the real champion in most of the years.sherm03 wrote: 1973 makes me laugh. Warren Western Reserve wins the AP Poll Title...yet, lost in the State Championship game to Mooney 14-3.

Not arguing the legitimacy of the Poll but in fairness to Western Reserve they did beat Mooney (and everyne else) during the regular seasonin '73. -
