D3 Athens 74 Logan Elm 55

Ironman92Just stupid.
Athens has some D1 skill athletes and that dominates our district every time.
I just don't understand how you score 18 touchdowns in 48 minutes.
Not sure I want to see the stats. -
DthaneThats not even 5 per quarter, every quarter...lol. Defensive players were accused of being too aggressive, so they backed off?
-
GoChiefsThat was ridiculous. I doubt we see those numbers again next week against Tri Valley.
It will be nice when Athens is back to reality in 2015. They are getting worse than some Logan fans in '07 thru '09. Lol -
ts1227Athens had 77 at halftime against Alexander a few weeks ago.
I think they have 3 guys who are kids of OU assistant coaches on the team -
Ironman92
I was going to mention having a nice sized D1 university is feeding the athletic programs pretty well.ts1227;1532714 wrote:Athens had 77 at halftime against Alexander a few weeks ago.

I never saw the 77 at half....surprised SEOP didn't blow up. -
ts1227
It was 77-7 at half, think it ended up 83-14Ironman92;1532719 wrote:I was going to mention having a nice sized D1 university is feeding the athletic programs pretty well.

Ironman92They have the skill players to make the final 4.....but it takes more than that.
Tri Valley should be a fun matchup -
Midstate01If I get home on Monday, I'm going to that game. Any guesses where it'll be? Pick North?
-
GoChiefsMy guess would be New Lex. About an hour away from each school.
-
ts1227That or Zanesville, likely.
-
Midstate01
Not big enough I don't think. And is new lex even on the list to host?GoChiefs;1532946 wrote:My guess would be New Lex. About an hour away from each school. -
GoChiefs
I think they hosted a game last season. Wasn't 100% positive on that though. Zanesville was my first thought, but TV is only 20 minutes away. Logan would be more neutral than that.Midstate01;1532959 wrote:Not big enough I don't think. And is new lex even on the list to host? -
Ironman92Lancaster? Do they still host?
Pick North would be good as they won't give Athens the much shorter trip to Logan.
Zanesville wouldn't be too bad either. -
Midstate01Lancaster doesn't have turf. Pick north or gahanna seems best to me.
-
Midstate01Game is at logan
-
GoChiefs
Zanesville is an hour longer for Athens than it is for TV. Pickerington would be ideal for both, but with North and Central still in the playoffs, that might not happen.Ironman92;1533027 wrote:Lancaster? Do they still host?

Ironman92Logan.....nice facility for this regional semi
-
Midstate01Ill be at logan for this one. If you see a guy shivering uncontrollably, that's me lol. Hawaii has pussified me hoping its a complete shootout tonight.

Logan is a great place to play. Enjoy. Make sure you stop at Pizza Crossing too!Midstate01;1536110 wrote:Ill be at logan for this one. If you see a guy shivering uncontrollably, that's me lol. Hawaii has pussified me hoping its a complete shootout tonight. -
Midstate01Pizza crossing is a must when I'm home. I went to the first ever game logan had at the new stadium to check it out. Its fantastic. Just the parking alone compared to the old stadium made it worth it
