OHSAA Official 7 Division Enrollment Breakdowns Released

  • LeopardNation
The OHSAA has released the official breakdown of the seven divisions for the 2013 and 2014 football seasons. I separated each division into tables so that we can see which team is where in the link below:

2013 & 2014 OHSAA Official Football Divisions Breakdown

These tables are based off of these figures released by the OHSAA today:

    Division I – 608+

    Division II – 403 to 607

    Division III – 281 to 402

    Division IV – 213 to 280

    Division V – 156 to 212

    Division VI – 112 to 155

Division VII – 111 or less

I have 719 teams listed in my post, however there are 715 teams total that have football according to the OHSAA. If you all can help me find the four teams that don't have football, I'd be happy to eliminate them from the list.

The Divisions should have this many teams: DI (72), DII (108), DII (108), DIV (109), DV (108), DVI (105), DVII (105)

My Breakdown has the following: DI (72), DII (108), DIII (108), DIV (110), DV (108), DVI (104), DVII (109)

So 1 school listed in DIV does not have football, I'm missing 1 school in DVI that does have football, and 4 schools from DVII do not have football that are listed. I appreciate the help in advance!

    Thanks Lep.

Man, I was really hoping McKinley would drop with Massillon to D2. Missed it by 4.

I was on the fence about that. In one hand im glad to be division one still and compete with the best. However on the other I will miss having a second shot at massillon each season come playoff time (i know our playoff record vs the tigers isnt great but a chance is a chance haha)

We have dominated both the regular season and playoffs. Most McKinley fans felt a sigh of relief with the division assignments.

I'm not going to get sucked into an ignorant fight with someone over something they aren't even apart of. However this shows your ignorance.

The facts show that we have dominated the series. We would have to lose every year until the current pre-school class graduates just to make the series even. We have more national titles than you have state titles.

You really seem to be a great Tiger fan, I appreciate that, how about we meet for a beer and a burger in the East parking lot before the perry game?

So they could potentially meet up in the playoffs as well.

Maria Stein must have lost a ton of kids to be in D7 when they had been on the border of 5/6 fir a few years.

While I am a Louisville fan first and a Massillon fan second, I don't think McKinley fans were feeling a sigh of relief because Massillon will be in another division. I think there are two sides of McKinley fans:

    1) They are relieved that they are in DI because they want to compete among the top teams in the state

    2) They are disappointed they are in DI because they would have a chance every year to add to their state titles in DII

Massillon fans have similar feelings I'd imagine some wishing they were still in DI among the top teams in the state and some glad they are in DII where they can be among the top favorites to win it all.

Are you saying that you would drink alcohol at a high school event? If I remember correctly, you were very upset when that happened at Mooney.

We were regular season regional champs in D1 last year. We had very successful years at the lower levels, and we tried out over 1400 kids at our combine this year. We would be among the top favorites to win it all in any division.

Oh no, I'm very sorry if I wasn't more clear when explaining my stance on it.

See, I was going to have a burger and a beer, MYSELF....I wasn't going to go out and purchase it for the kids like what happened at mooney.
