Thoughts on Steubenville's squad in 2013?

Don't call me a clown. I am the only person who is seriously trying to clean up the town. I have made some mistakes and I regret them. But at least give me credit for trying. None of the rest of you is doing anything positive to help the situation, so you should just stand back and shut your damn mouths.steubbigred;1414445 wrote:Whats up brother . Im not FWK I had to redo my screename but I am not that clown . You and I always got along you can message me if you wish
If you wish to help me clean up the town, I will welcome your participation. I will welcome any and all good suggestions as to how we can do this.
Until today, I never had much admiration for Martin Luther King. But I now realize what he was going through. Don't misunderstand me-- I am not comparing myself with MLK. I'm just saying that I understand what he went through. I now have a very high admiration for him. And if he were still alive, he would be in Steubenville trying to straighten out a very dysfunctional city.
Any help you can give me will be gratefully accepted. When I was growing up, Steubenville was a very decent city. It was safe and clean. I could not have grown up in better place. I would really like to move back there to spend my final years. I love the town. I have to admit that I have never been to the restored fort, but I plan to take my friends there this year. And I love the Jefferson County Historical Association Museum. Their biggest display is a Christmas pageant that I donated to them about ten years ago. You must see it. My grandfather built it 100 years ago. It is a complete amusement park with 100-year-old trains. They are open on Wednesdays. Please go down there an see it. Tell Charlie that Scott Carlton sent you. He's a great guy and a huge Big Red fan. I'm sure he will let you in. But don't go to the main door. Go to the entrance on the extreme left side of the building. Better yet, let me know that you are coming and I will call him to tell him to let you in.
I apologize for sounding so angry, but this whole situation is killing me. My memories of Steubenville are wonderful. I had so many good times. And I love coming home every year to visit old friends and to see some Big Red football. This year will be no exception. I have already invited six people from all over the country to join me at the Massillon game. There may be more. We will get there two hours early so we can park in the Middle School parking lot. And then we will walk under the underpass and enjoy some great roast turkey at Bob Evans. -

This is probably the dumbest thing I've ever read on here. I know that you have that type of reputation, but damn. MLK stood up for the rights of millions who were segregated against and is one of the most influential people of the 20th century. That's great you're trying to clean up the town, but don't pretend you know what MLK was going through based on this disaster. The two situations couldn't be any more different.FairwoodKing;1414595 wrote:Until today, I never had much admiration for Martin Luther King. But I now realize what he was going through. And no, he wouldn't be in Steubenville, because he was involved in the African-American Civil Rights Movement - not a town that ignores justice for rape because it involves the football team. So not only do you not realize what he was going through; you don't even know what he stood for. -

If that were true, the town is worst shape than I thought. However, I think you are incorrect. There were people as early as last August that felt strong action should be taken. I know some Big Red fans that refused to go to game last year because of what happened. While all of this was going on, you kept saying that victim deserved some of the blame and that Reno should keep his job.FairwoodKing;1414595 wrote:I am the only person who is seriously trying to clean up the town. -

Noooo I used to love going over and watching games during the playoffs at Steubenville. Because the stadium and atmosphere is sweet. But the corruption and disgusting acts of the football players and those people who support rape have made me say screw Steubenville and anyone from there. Except Tim Bahen, great man. -

First few games I saw was when nate Davis was at bellaire. So maybe 05??? After how much I enjoyed that game, I started just watching for any playoff games there, then would drive from lancaster to watch. -
