Brookfield

Haha well arn't you just brilliant. This is what is projected for the teams to finish.

    1. Norwayne - 10-0, 24.3010
    2. Brookfield - 10-0, 23.4167
    3. Manchester - 8-2, 21.1500
    4. Lakeview - 8-2, 20.3000
    5. Hawken - 9-1, 16.5071
    6. Triway - 8-2, 15.8000
    7. Streetsboro - 7-3, 15.7500
    8. Liberty - 8-2, 13.9000

So therefore if Brookfield and Norwayne both go 10-0 this is what happens. Norwayne just plays a better schedule thats all deal with it.

What Ohio was pointing out, or trying to point out was that Norwayne has a much tougher schedule from here on out for the rest of the season . If Norwayne wins out they will be #1 and Brookfield #2. Run the numbers if you'd like. There isn't much of a difference between the two actually, and i'll pick Brookfield over Norwayne this season as well.
No - I don't have to run the numbers. I think the guy does it 10,000 times or something. He has Brookfield slightly ahead of Norwayne with projected Harbin points if they both win out. It's speculative anyway because the numbers could change based on how their opponents do in other games, but Brookfield has a higher range of possibilities acording to the math guru at that site. It could change next week. They also have the better chance of going 10-0 even if if they're both favored in remaining games. It's based on how he predicts all those games come out. He's pretty successful overall, but he didn't give Norwayne much of a chance last year.

But again, it doesn't matter much at this point - alot could change in 5 weeks. If they do meet, I'll take Norwayne, but by a smaller margin than last year. Some other good teams from this area and in the region are Triway and Northwestern.

The site I quoted earlier has: Brookfield 10W 24.4 (20.2-28.4 range)
    Norwayne 10W 24.3 (21.3-25.8)

It could go either way, but apparently the schedules aren't that much different.

It doesn't matter who is #1 or who is #2. From the sound of it, they should easily handle the #7 & #8 seeds. Then after the first round, games are at neutral locations, anyway.

By the way, how much better is 2012 Brookfield than 2011 Brookfield? How many returning starters, etc.?

That's true about #1 and #2. I think Norwayne was 3 or 4 last year and still didn't get a real home game because of the condition of the field.

Brookfield, like Triway, must be alot better. They both had big wins: Struthers and Orrville, respectively. It's hard to say about Norwayne relative to last year - they had obvious big losses, but also have had a few players step up. I don't think a comparison can be made fairly until they play some of their tougher games at the end of the season.

    Maxpreps was wrong.

Norwayne does finish the season with tough games at Hillsdale and home vs. Northwestern.

How was western reserve academy in the game at Half time?

Much different second half! It's a lot harder to throw and catch the ball when there is air in it!
  • Ohio
That made a lot of sense.

I'm sorry in layman terms- WRA was letting the air out of the ball during the first half of the game which would make the ball easier to throw and catch! Better?
  • chaz6634
Nope still don't make much sense
  • Spread All Day
^ I agree. What are you saying
  • Struthers Fan
Regarding Region 13, I think Liberty is your "sleeper" team. They have gotten better each week. They could pull a surprise or two.
  • Ohio
Lakeview will be a tough out for everyone with the coach they have over there. and yeah idk what you are trying to say with letting the air out of the ball but i did see that kid from a weak WRA team threw for 300 and 3 touchdowns.

Just to let you know, the plural is not "hillbillys", but rather "hillbillies." Kind of makes you feel a little stupid, doesn't it?
