ts1227Marlington heads to Reilly Stadium this week.
This is not going to end well. Not too much else to say. -
drakeYes, it will likely be a long night for the Quakers Friday.

I doubt that it would have made a difference this year.Spread All Day;1274610 wrote:Good luck Salem! Wish they stayed in the AAC -
Ned IsakoffI bet Kopachy would've stayed if they were in AAC and he wouldn't have written off this season like Johnson had. They would've been better

A good year for Salem in boys BB is probably still worse than a down one in Struthers, unfortunatelySpread All Day;1276127 wrote:Well we aren't going to be very good -

Funny. Salem beat Struthers last year / Struthers was the district champ. And in the tournament the Q's were 15 seconds away from beating Poland and getting the chance to beat Struthers again in the final, and move on to the regional.ts1227;1276384 wrote:A good year for Salem in boys BB is probably still worse than a down one in Struthers, unfortunately -

if the coach gets them to play a team game they will compete and with the potential to have an impressive season - if the goal is individual statistics - they won't - it's that simple... Salem has a lot coming back this year - time will tell...ts1227;1276384 wrote:A good year for Salem in boys BB is probably still worse than a down one in Struthers, unfortunately -
Spread All DayIn all fairness Salem beat Struthers without Jacubec. They wouldn't of beat Struthers with him.. You know that. How did Salem jump out to a 10-0 lead tonight??

scoreboardThis one could be over by the end of the first. I'd love to see you shock the world though.

WRONG, Jacubec was indeed on the floor as a starter that night. Salem lead wire to wire.Spread All Day;1277034 wrote:In all fairness Salem beat Struthers without Jacubec. They wouldn't of beat Struthers with him.. You know that. How did Salem jump out to a 10-0 lead tonight?? -

Well, actually at the end of Q1 Salem lead 10 - 0. I wish it had been over at the end of the first quarter.scoreboard;1277037 wrote:This one could be over by the end of the first. I'd love to see you shock the world though. -

Marlington definitely looked vulnerable, we just didn't have the horses to do anything about it past quarter. Lots of turnovers and not that impressive of a passing game for the Dukes (the ones he did complete had tons of YAC, leading to 6/9 for 175).QuakerOats;1277056 wrote:Well, actually at the end of Q1 Salem lead 10 - 0. TheQThere may be hope for the near future. During the broadcast of the game one of the announcers said that the Salem frosh team was undefeated (5-0?) and had just beaten the Marlington freshmen. Can anybody confirm this?
