2010 - (7-3) No playoffs.
2009 - (6-2-1) No playoffs.
2008 - (9-1) Lost to Madison in D2 playoffs. -
RedRider1Heard a rumor that Dover is going with the matte gray helmet this year. Saw a picture of them in the paper the other day and it looked like their typical helmet they've always wore.
Anyone know for sure? -

OQBBest of luck to the Tornadoes of Dover this season! Always enjoyed playing you and watching you in the playoffs.
Hopefully we can get you back on our schedule soon!! -
GRAYWOLFThanks for the info. Dover has some new challenges this year. I hope Dover will be Dover but you don't really know until the season starts. Starting a new Qb but he has some good experience under his belt. Being a Dover fan, I sure hope defense shows up to play this year, It was totally out of hand last year. I know we where playing some good opponents but come on. Just a little bit of D would have made it much easier. LOL
Good luck to Orrville this year and all other teams till you meet up with Dover 2012. -
ManO'WarShaw has been a traditionally good team...but not great. They always have athletes though. I would put them in the same category as a Warrensville Hts or Youngstown East.

Orrville had a 7 on 7 with Shaw recently at McKinley. They looked very athletic and their QB had good size and a strong arm. Disciplined football may be a thorn in their foot.ManO'War;1238930 wrote:Shaw has been a traditionally good team...but not great. They always have athletes though. GRAYWOLFthanks again,
Dover scrimmages Wooster on the 10th then Pickerington Central on the 16th. Those should give some idea whasubie with Dover. -
J-DoverI hate to see the summer come to an end, but dang is it football season yet?
-
GRAYWOLFDover scrimmage at Wooster didn't impress me. But, against Pickerington Central Dover showed great effort and improvement. Let the games begin!!!

WooballHopefully the D shows up like that all year long. Farmer, Morris and Flip created a nice pushed and made some plays at or behind the LOS and the backers were flying to the ball. Not nearly as many missed tackles as we have seen in years past. #17 looks like he could be a real player as well.
They need to bring that same energy to the field Thursday night against Shaw. -

Good start. LOL As long as #7 can keep dodging the bullets and live.
