#45 Adam Wallace

BirddogJust read it. It is self explanatory. Self promoting ones self is just not cool. The previous post says it all.
-
BirddogYes I am saying that for sure no doubt. I could go on for ever.
-
iced earthDude.....you mean you think I'm Adam.... and I started this thread about myself? HOLY $%*! That's too freakin funny!
My name is Al
I played football for Waynedale....almost 30 years ago!
I own a bowling alley.
Most people in Wayne County know me as Big Al...probably because I go about 5'10" 345 and although I always wanted to play quarterback, Jeff Soures wouldn't let me. -
BirddogNow you call me dude. Man not cool. Keep working on convincing yourself that this is not some type of promotion or self indulging for you.

iced earthEver feel like you might be getting punk'd.....If Birddog is really 1_beast or Mr.300 messing with me heads are going to roll!

THE4RINGZIt's not beast. He has too much respect for Wallace.

Mike Plant5 playoff games, Wallace accounted for 25 TDs (14 pass, 11 run) with 1 interception. Not a bad run
-
kurty66I agree that the kid warrants his own thread - if the two detractors didn't think so they might have just stayed out of the thread instead of bringing an agenda and tainting it. If you know anything about Wallace, the last thing he would do is call attention to himself.
I didn't notice it at the game, but replaying it later I saw that Wallace was one of the guys who tackled the Kenton player who received the last kickoff. It was the first time I saw him in on special teams - other than the punts they usually run out of their normal offensive formation. Kenton starting near the 20 instead of the 35 or 40 on that last drive was pretty important because Mauk can throw it 60 yards. -

Being turnover free in that final game was huge. It was hard enough overcoming the onside kicks, hail marys and 2pt. conversions.Mike Plant;1003725 wrote:5 playoff games, Wallace accounted for 25 TDs (14 pass, 11 run) with 1 interception. Not a bad run -

WHY...They are D-III and Norwayne would beat them....thedemoralizer7;1003460 wrote:does anyone remember joe kikume from waynedale in the early 80s? he was very good.. but i also agree that d4 was down, i would of liked to see norwayne play steubenville.
Step away from the dope...i can assure you...Iced Earth was NEVER a QB...lol......Birddog;1003536 wrote:really start your own thread about yourself to get attention and get your buddies to talk about you because you had one very good game. One good game does not mean you all the sudden become great. I dont think he dominated the good teams (2) in the WCAL. I was told how this got started and it is just stupid and bush league. You just won state so act like it.
Indian Joe was a Beast...but I wonder how Hendrix, Joe Lemon and Nofsinger measure up to Kikume...Zuerch is in this convo too obviously!iced earth;1003571 wrote:Joe was the best all around player Waynedale has produced. I suppose you would have to rate Matt Zuercher a close second. Joe never got a chance to play a playoff game. Matt led a team to the final 4 where they lost to eventual champ Liberty Center.
Mr 300 will take your money Big Al...iced earth;1003660 wrote:Dude.....you mean you think I'm Adam.... and I started this thread about myself? HOLY $%*! That's too freakin funny!

iced earthI started this thread, to give a little extra props, to the kid who led his team to a state title. I don't know the kid and I don't even like Norwayne. Just giving credit where credit is due.
His performance, on the biggest stage possible, gives him the edge when you consider the best players in league history.
And yes the Bobcats got a gold trophy....but they still have to beat my Bears, every year until like 2048, just to even the all time series!
There is some self indulging promotion for you Birddog!
And.......Mr.300 isn't even the best bowler in the greater Millersburg/Killbuck metro area. He ain't taking anyones money! -

What do you have against Norwayne. Every post you make is a slam on them. You can't even congratulate them on winning the state championship. You come on and say ohh DIV was weak. Thats not what you said every step of the way when Norwayne was gonna lose, especially to Mr. Ohio. I feel sorry for you that you hate Norwayne that much that you can't even applaud the only WCAL school to ever win state.thedemoralizer7;1003460 wrote:does anyone remember joe kikume from waynedale in the early 80s? he was very good.. but i also agree that d4 was down, i would of liked to see norwayne play steubenville. -

Birddog I think your chasing decoys. I think I even criticized iced earth on another thread for some of his dissing of Norwayne. At least he can give credit when credit is due.Birddog;1003684 wrote:Now you call me dude. Man not cool. iced earthNot to put words in anyones mouth...but I think what thedemoralizer is trying to say, is Norwaynes title was a product of division realignment.
And I don't want to upset anyone, because Norwayne beat everyone put in front of them. But I agree.
If Norwayne was still in d5 I don't think they beat Kirtland.
If Mooney or Steubenville was still in d4. They don't win those either. -
thedemoralizer7
thank you iced earth, that was what i was trying to say. Mooney and Steubenville both got moved down to D3 this year and i dont think norwayne would beat either of them IMO. im not taking anything away from norwayne and their state title so everyone who is saying all my posts slam norwayne are incorrect. They deserved it and worked hard for it! Im simply stating that i would like to see norwayne play the usual and past D4 powerhouses like Mooney and Steubenville.iced earth;1004224 wrote:Not to put words in anyones mouth...but I think what thedemoralizer is trying to say, is Norwaynes title was a product of division realignment.

Not jealous and give him his due. Like I said he played a very good game. Also sorry if I implied anything different than congrats, but I guess I was told something else. Just state the stuff I feel and don't mean any disrespect. -

Drew Pasteur (Fantastic50) would agree. He has Norwayne finally cracking the the top 50 (at 49). They are the lowest ranked state champion - and they were only above Buckeye-Central of the 12 final teams before the finals were played.iced earth;1004224 wrote:Not to put words in anyones mouth...but I think what thedemoralizer is trying to say, is Norwaynes title was a product of division realignment.

I'm not sure I'd like Norwayne against Mooney or Steubenville either, but I'd take them against Kirtland and Maria-Stein. DP would still have Kenton as a 7 point favorite in a rematch against Norwayne (down from 16 before the game). As much as I like his computer model, it ain't perfect.
The bobcats did beat everyone put in front of them, except Smithville. I prefer to leave it there. -

HereticWell, uh, Kenton has been sort of a powerhouse in the Division IV world for the last decade-plus. Two state championships, one D-IV runner-up now to go with a D-III runner-up from a season between the two Mauks and numerous other playoff appearances. Regional finals last year, I think. They might not be exactly Mooney or Steuby (one rung lower on the ladder going off the past decade or so), but they've been better than most teams in recent times.

IF IF IF IF, if D4 was D6 we could win D5.iced earth;1004224 wrote:Not to put words in anyones mouth...but I think what thedemoralizer is trying to say, is Norwaynes title was a product of division realignment.

I think Norwayne would have a chance to snap off Steubenville. Mooney would have beat them into submission, just too many large athletes. Kirtland same thing....They were Smithville only bigger, faster, stronger, and way meaner. Look what they did to Wynford who was very similar to Norwayne.
If we could magically keep the season going here are some games I would like to see...
Norwayne vs. Marion Local
Kirtland vs. Mooney
Wynford vs. Norwayne or Orrville
Kirtland vs. Kenton
