After the season got rolling, it didn’t take much to make people believers. Griffey turned in one of the finest seasons for a wide receiver in the history of Dr. Phillips football. He had 72 catches, 970 yards and 11 touchdowns. He now holds four school records for receptions in a game (13), receiving yards in a game (188), receptions in a season (72) and receiving yards in a season (970).
Trey transferred from West Orange to Dr. Phillips this year and really came on strong catching passes from QB Nick Patti, a Boise St commit.
