  And to quiet the rumors, he is not going to Harding. His wife accepted a job in Colorado and they will be moving out west in the weeks/months ahead.
  
  Thank You for everything you did for Ursuline football! It was a pleasure to play for you and be around you and your family for the past 7 years. You made us into a powerhouse school and should be commended for everything you did for your players ON and OFF the field.

  Wow! What a shocking announcement, at least for someone in central Ohio. Was this at all expected around that part of the state.

  His wife lost her job at Youngstown State I am told, forcing her to look for a job elsewhere. I understand she accepted a position at a University out in Colorado. I am sure he will be able to find work out there. He is a great coach, but an even greater man to be around.

  WOW huge loss for Ursulin ... Looks like Mooney will again get to a national level in strength in the next few years ,unless Ursulin can bring in another prodigy ... Better look at Bruney from Brooke WVA .. He is a top notch talent and those hoopies dont know how good they got it with him ... He took a school with limited talent to two consecutive big school state title games in WVA and tried to get on at Harding last year .. Harding opted for the guy they just fired ... Im serious .. Bruney is a formal college coach and has had major success .. check him out for real

  I believe this will truley hurt the Ursuline football program and may just make the Mooney football program even that much better.

  bet on it .. If Mooney doesnt have any competition for those kids that Ursulin was getting .. Public schools are going to have to join forces and circle the wagons

  Feeder program rivalry:
  2010 North Catholic 14-7
  2010 North Catholic 20-14
  2011 North Catholic 28-6
  
  Those are the records in the previous three meetings between the Ursuline feeder program (North Catholic) and the Mooney feeder program (South Catholic). Furthermore, St. Christine's split from North Catholic, although they have 7-10 kids going to Ursuline. They too beat South Catholic twice this year and like North Catholic, finished 7-1 on the year.
  
  The incoming freshmen class at Ursuline may be the best ever. Stacked with size on the LINE, speed at RB, and a quality secondary. Future looks bright for the Irish!!!
