Austintown Fitch 2012
-
Gardens35For all you Fitch followers out there, here's the 2012 schedule as of now.
Week 1 Warren G Harding Home
Week 2 Open
Week 3 Brunswick Home
Week 4 Open
Week 5 Boardman Home
Week 6 Youngstown East Home
Week 7 Massillon Away
Week 8 Marion Harding Away
Week 9 Uniontown Lake Home
Week 10 Cardinal Mooney Home
Not crazy about the two year deal with Marion Harding, but this schedule has shaped up much better than I thought it would. Good to see Massillon and Mooney back on, and looking forward to seeing Brunswick for the first time. Just hope they don't junk it up with Canadian and/or Washington DC games.

Gardens35Probably beat Massillon again, the rest is up in the air.

Youngstown East is up in the air? -
Gardens35Good thread so far.
-
FairwoodKingI'd like to see Steubenville Big Red on that schedule.
-
Gardens35Same.

Falcons53Any chance of one of the local "bigger" schools? Howland, Poland, Canfield? Maybe one of the Akron schools or Louisville. I know they are D-2, but better to play one of them than a Canadian school or travel too far.

Sat on this for about a week too like the Rios thing. I feel good being ahead of the rumor mill tho. I get home to Warren not too often anymore. Good timing I guess.Dean Wormer;958616 wrote:Heard this rumor tonight. This kid could make Fitch an instant contender. -
Falcons53Unless he is in 8th grade right now or Austintown is his home district, I don't think whomever the rumor is can play next year. Am I correct on the rules in Ohio now?

Its pretty easy to establish residency in an area like Austintown, Warren, etc. I doubt it will be an issue once the decision is made.Falcons53;958737 wrote:Unless he is in 8th grade right now or Austintown is his home district, I don't think whomever the rumor is can play next year. YtowngirlinflaIsn't Austintown open enrollment anyways? So residency shouldn't matter?
-
BTrevI'm pretty sure that Fitch is OE...

Falcons53OE still requires a 1 year sit out if the kid is in HS already. The only immediate ability to ply is a kid going back to home district from a private school or relocation by parents. If it is a local kid, they would have to prove the necessity to relocate to the OHSAA.
