    FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.
BUT....You also said, "But you can't ignore the fact that 80 some percent of the predictions from that site come true--not scores but outcomes."

So....I guess I should take THAT for what it's worth in and of itself.
  • SQ_Crazies
Right. You don't have to buy into it--but you can't ignore that it predicts 80 some percent of games correct. That's pretty damn high--much more reliable than a lot of sources that people use for anything. Sorry that I stated a fact about the site and you can't handle it because it said Massillon would lose. I've never witnessed anyone completely lose their mind defending their school the way you have--it's insane. The fact that you have to go this far out of your way to do it tells me that everything everyone else says about the Tigers is much more reliable.

Sorry, I guess I get a little chippy when I start a thread about MASSILLON, and Mooney & Dover hijack it and turn it into something it was not meant to be.

If you guys want to pimp your own schools, start your own thread.

You also put stock into calpreps, anyway, how hard is it to predict 80% of high school football?
  • SQ_Crazies
LOL, they hijacked it? You asked and he answered, then you proceeded to tear apart Mooney LOL. Can't have your cake and eat it too boy.

Didn't I make it clear that I don't put that much stock in it? Do you not understand the meaning of FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH? I was just posting it--you don't have to buy into it.

And predicting high school football isn't that hard--especially when you're predicting Mooney vs. Massillon.

Yeah, you made it clear, but you also went to the trouble of looking up the info.

Predicting a game in which one school is parochial and the other is public? Yeah, I guess that is pretty easy.
  • SQ_Crazies
LOL, it's way to easy to watch you make a fool out of yourself.

This was the second post on this thread, a Mooney supporter responding to MY post in which I didn't bring up the name Mooney.

skank wrote: Massillon finishes the decade with a home record of 56-15, Ok, not exactly domination, but let's look a little closer.

ALL 15 teams that won during this decade at PBTS were playoff teams.

Six of the teams made it to the championship game
    (2003) Benedictine 14-1 state champs
(2003) St. Edward 11-4 state runner up
    (2004) Benedictine 12-3 state champs
(2004) McKinley 11-4 state runner up
(2007) Mentor 11-3 state runner up
(2008) St. Ignatius 14-1 state runner up

Massillon finished the decade with a record of 4-1 vs rival McKinley.

Massillon played 4 home playoff games, finishing with a 3-1 record.

The avg. record of the 15 teams that won at PBTS is 10.2-2.7 and they have a .789 winning pct.
Alright, you proved that they can't beat good teams at home.

What's the records of the teams that they beat? That would be interesting
THIS....was the third post on this thread....I guess the only thing worse than a sore loser is an arrogant (fan base) winner.
  • SQ_Crazies
Wow, that's worthy of the hissy fit you've thrown? So since he's a Mooney supporter he can't comment? He has a point--as much smack talk that comes out of Massillon you'd think they would have won a state title. And you also had to ask him which school he supports lol.
  • GoChiefs
In skanks defense..I think he's just tired of them crapping on EVERY Massillon thread..it's not just this one by any means.

skank wrote: Ah, Mooney, did you ever wonder how a school with 250 boys can play so well against bigger school? Or how they can have an offensive line comparable to an NFL team, size wise, when every other school their size in the state has an O-line that averages like 220 lbs? Ah the advantages of being a private school.
He had an opinion on Massillon football, THIS was my opinion of Mooney football.

    Maybe were both right.

Thank you chiefs, this is exactly it, you can't start a Massillon thread without some ying yang coming out of the woodwork and stirring shit.
  • SQ_Crazies
Like we don't hear enough Massillon crap anyways...
  • skank
Yet you have chosen to enter a Massillon thread. Who's making a fool of themselves now?
  • SQ_Crazies
Certainly not me. I entered the thread a long time ago--brought a piece of information in as a reference and you decided to try to call me out. You would have been all over calpreps nuts had it said that Massillon would beat Mooney.
  • september63
I reallly care less what ppl think or say about Dover football. Having said this, SKANK is always willing to dish it out, but when facts come out against anything Massillon. He turns into a whiner.
  • SQ_Crazies
    ^My point exactly.

"you entered the thread a long time ago", this after saying, "like we don't hear enough Massillon crap anyways".

You said "for what it's worth", yet you continue to bring up calpreps.

And you say that I "would have been all over it", had it said that my team would win....do you mean like you are now?

How many Dover threads have I been on? Besides the one I started to counter the one that you started. YOU....are the one trolling Massillon threads, not me on Dover threads.
  • SQ_Crazies
You're the one that freaked out about it--of course I'm going to defend myself. You look like an idiot dude.

56-15 is a pretty good record nothing to sneeze at anyways.

I think if Massillon sticks with Coach Hall he will bring you guys State title #23 and the first in the playoff era.

Every thread I start about Massillon, you rear your ugly head and try to start stuff.

Show me the stuff I threw at anyone on this thread, before it was thrown at me.
