I saw Salem Salem play last week at Louisville and sat on the Salem side. Quakers have some talented players, but lets face it, the Leopards beat them.

Probably the creepiest thing I've ever seen at a HS football game were the 2 guys who spent the entire game next to the Salem cheerleaders. One had a pillow stuffed down his shirt (supposed to look like a Quaker?) and the other guy just stood there swinging and clapping his hands and lip-syncing the cheers. ...very wierd!

WB played very well against marlington last week. I think if they play that way tonight they will win.

Just drove by, Either they painted it with watercolor (or some crap paint that was cleaned off today) or this is not true. Bell is clean.

Congratz to the Quakers on a very nice 27-7 win over the resurgent Warriors. I thought WB had the momentum going into this one and had a slight advantage. The Quakers played great on defense and limited mistakes on both sides of the ball that usually came back to bite them. The limited action seen by Wells really hurt WB along with some huge turnovers. Also, Congratz to Penick who became the all time reception leader for Salem (according to WSOM), and to Austin Noel for a 200 yard performance and a 1200+ yard season.

What happened to Wells? That really hurt WB. Also Salem's RB was very good. Seemed like a bit of a hot dog though.

Great win for the Quakers! Salem won by limiting the penalties and holding on to the ball. Always sweet to knock off the Warriors!

I don't know for sure, but WSOM said he came into the game a bit banged up from last week. Maybe he re-injured something. Just a guess though. Noel, Salem's running back, has been a workhorse for three years. Normally not the "hot dog" type, but this was his last game and I think he was a bit fired up. Probably earned the right to show off a bit after three years of hard work.

This group of seniors has been a special bunch. First 2 trips to the playoffs, and beating WB 3 years straight.
