D3R11 - What's the line up when the bell rings?

Crimson and Gray HairHere's mine:

BuckCreekDover still has to win against New Philly to be #2

Dover and Poland are the only teams in this week's top ten who will see a significant challenge. Obviously, I expect Dover to win over NP and Poland to lose to Canfield.BuckCreek;942861 wrote:Dover still has to win against New Philly to be #2 -
Lockup ScreenIf Poland wins, Poland Overtakes NW and sits at 5. Sending Northwest to either Minerva or Dover. IF Canfield beats Poland, Northwest will play Mooney.
-
GoChiefsDoes Marlington get in if they win and Poland loses?
-
Wooball
They probably need Poland and either Granville, Indian Creek or Sheridan to lose from the looks of thingsGoChiefs;945376 wrote:Does Marlington get in if they win and Poland loses? -
Crimson and Gray HairIf Canfield loses to Poland that should get Phila in even with a lose to us, yes?
(Oh God...did I actually imply I was hoping Phila would make the playoffs?!) -
GoChiefsI thought New Philly was pretty much a lock regardless?

2002sunsetThe real question is can any of the 5-8 seeds win in week 11? I am not sure I see that happening unless maybe Minerva goes down to whoever they play. If 1-4 win their games, I guess Big Red gets Mooney and Dover takes the easy road to the Regional final.

Here's a questions for the point gurus. Is it possible for Mooney to move up with a combination of the D2 L1 points they'll get for beating Lake and the D1 L2 points for Boardman(they play Fitch), Mifflin County(PA)(not sure of their opponent), Perry (beaten by Lake), Hoover (beaten by Lake). There's Canton, but that game is close, but possible. They will probably pick up some D5 L2 points from Red Lion. So how does it look, both with all of these teams winning and then with Canton losing?2002sunset;946062 wrote:The real question is can any of the 5-8 seeds win in week 11? WooballLonger answer... Both Dover and Minerva's MIN winout totals are higher than Mooney's MAX win-out totals. So if both Dover and Minerva win, Mooney can NOT move up. A Dover loss to New Phila and there will be a L2 battle between Dover and Mooney for the #3 seed.
Sorry, but it looks like Big Red and Mooney are going to be playing in round 2. -

Sheridan over Lex is likely, but by no means a given.Crimson and Gray Hair;942888 wrote:Dover and Poland are the only teams in this week's top ten who will see a significant challenge. Obviously, I expect Dover to win over NP and Poland to lose to Canfield. -

And the winner of that game will win the region, sorry but it doesnt matter where minerva or dover end up they simply cant match upWooball;946126 wrote:Longer answer... Dover 31
Big Red 28 -
captvernWooball scores from last year do not count for this year. See Massillon and Ursuline.

I think its at least relevant when Dover has a lot back from that same team when someone says "Dover and Minerva can't match-up"captvern;946725 wrote:Wooball scores from last year do not count for this year. See Massillon and Ursuline. -

If they don't count, then why the signs in the 'ville about "remember last year", "Beat Dover"? Last year does count, especially when you finally get that monkey off your back.captvern;946725 wrote:Wooball scores from last year do not count for this year. See Massillon and Ursuline.

While I realize last year was Dover's trophy season, it is long forgotten in Steubenville. Of the last six years that we have been members of Region 11, we have been regional champion four times. That is a pretty good batting average.
And, I would think "getting the monkey off your back" would mean actually getting out of the region. -

I have honestly never seen any of those signs. Last year counts for last year and that is it. It has no effect on this year.J-Dover;946797 wrote:If they don't count, then why the signs in the 'ville about "remember last year", "Beat Dover"? Dover's expectations are a little different than Big Red's. That is the difference. So whatever they call success, good for them.RedBlackAttack;947135 wrote:Where are those signs located? lol

AppleThe winner of R11 could very well win State this year. I say this not only because of the respect Stuebenville has earned, but because I saw Mooney way back in week one take down McKinley.
My guess is that the DIII championship goes through Youngstown in 2011. If a team can beat the Cards they will either be on their way, or will have won, the title.
There are lots of games to be played all over the state. My hope is that my Alter Knights will be in it at the end.
Good luck to all the teams. -

This region is certainly stacked with talent. I hope to see Dover work it's way through the mire!
Gonna be fun!
