Massillon @ Steubenville

ajwahoo2k2Hate both teams! Being that Big Red is a brother in D3 R11, would like to see them win. Since my nephew plays for Massillon (Go #24) I'd like to see them win. Cancel each other out hate both.
Big Red need not worry about Massillon QB. He will make 5 completions two being for TD's. This kid is not worth the Hype (can you say Tim Couch, Brady Quinn). He is just not all that he is cracked up to be. I like the defense for Massillon. Death Valley will be just that....DEATH to the Tigers.

NWIndianNation01Should be a pretty good game...although they are a couple divisions apart, it will help us to understand how good the other really is.

That's is exactly what I'm thinking. Should be a great game!

Yes, Big Red, don't worry about Kyle, as a matter of fact, your defense need not practice or game plan for this game at all this week. Seriously though, who's hyping this kid? I'm not hearing any of it. Kyle does EXACTLY what coach Hall and McDanials wants him to do....manage the game and not turn the ball over. He has 13 TD passes and 2 interceptions, one which should have been caught. He manages a game well and takes care of the ball by making good decisions. Kyles numbers aren't flashy, but Massillons offense is more balanced than it was last year, which happens when kids like Smith and Olack graduate. Kyle may not beat the opposing team, but the opposing team most likely isn't going to win because of his mistakes.ajwahoo2k2;934114 wrote:Hate both teams! ajwahoo2k2Really Skank? I believe that this kid is a flash in the pan. The defense has won the most of your games this year. King, Taylor, Plants, Winters are this team. Not someone that Daddy paid for this and Daddy paid for that. No I am not a bitter relative, but when you watch this kid he is not even close to being the best. I am talking about the hype that has him ranked up therewith Appleby, Foster, Riley, etc. in Stark County this year. That is what I am referring to.

LOL..yeah..you don't sound bitter at all. The offense has put up 262 points this year. You're right. The defense is clearly winning the games. I've yet to hear ANYONE claim he was the best. He's good enough to manage the game and get the wins. That's obviously as good as he needs to be.ajwahoo2k2;934499 wrote:Really Skank? Yeah, really. A flash in the pan? You're kidding right? That may be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The kid has thrown for over a thousand yards, with 13 tds and TWO (2) picks. I know those numbers aren't exactly records, but let's not forget, all the skill position players are first year players....No more Smith, no more Olack, no more Reiman to turn and hand the ball to. Harrison, Baez, Blake, Moore, Hendricks, all first year starters. Not to mention he manages a game as good as anybody in the county.
Also, tell me what daddy paid for. Let's hear it. I personally doubt that you have even been to a Massillon game this year. -

What about the hype surrounding Appleby? Why do YOU hold him in such high regard?
Appleby's record as a starter 5-11....Kempt's, 12-3.
Hoovers point totals in their 11 losses under AA.

So again I ask you, since you're the QB guru, why so high on Appleby? -
ajwahoo2k2Hey Spank, when I am not watching the Indians play I am over in Tigger Town, I have season tickets. Section 5, Row DD seats 1 thru 4. Love talking football with some of your older fans. As a matter of fact I may have recruited some of them over to Northwest next year. They are excited to watch the Indians play. But really the Tigers have a good chance of beating the Big Red Friday night. I will be getting my updates from my family as I will be sending updates to them of the ST. Thomas vs. NW game.
What did daddy buy, whatever daddy wants. -

You may have him mixed up with someone else....He works at Diebold....He doesn't OWN it. -

Another thing, I talked to Reggie last year, I know who #24s sideliner was, before we start talking about anybodys, "daddy buying whatever he wants", I should let you know that I know how #24 benefitted from having you know who as a sideliner.
Thanks for playing. -
Crimson and Gray HairHey Tigers - Death Valley(?) ain't so bad at all. I came away last year with a heart full of victory and a belly full of DeCarlo's - nope...not a bad place at all!

Your HEART and BELLY may have been full, but your coach left his GUTS on the PBTS turf back in 05. -

LOL we seem to do that every year somewhere. I could be wrong but most all schools leave it some-wares.skank;935002 wrote:Your HEART and BELLY may have been full, but your coach left his GUTS on the PBTS turf back in 05.
Rumor has it Stuber athletic supporters are having a crowd practice everyday this week at Harding, pom poms, flags, wot and hollers. -

BigYtownRedAfter attending last night's game in comparison to those in the first half of the season, I like the maturity I saw which wasn't there in Ytown. The passing game is clicking, Prather seems to be in good control, the running game is great & the D got better between the two halves, which is always a plus having the ability to make the proper adjustments. We didn't quit when they marched on us easily a couple of times & we answered them right back.
Kelly's nephew was impressive it is a shame for him that #2 got short arms in the second half. But the way were layin cats out I can understand.
Hope this one has all the hype that the last two years have had, lookin forward to an electric atmosphere & for the Red to trample the Tigers. This is a great test for both squads going into the post-season.
