Coldwater would put that beat down on you for sure but on the other hand you will not find out because you wont make the playoffs! Tell your AD to stop scheduling teams that are way better than you. Makes no sense!!!
Why don't you hook them up with your school

I was on the Ursuline teams that beat Fitch by a TD in each contest. We knew going into the 2007 vs. Fitch at YSU that they were not going to play us in the next year for whatever reason. Ursuline would LOVE to play them, but the feeling is not mutual.Gardens35;893562 wrote:1. Fitch playing a Canadian team whether Catholic or not is more than a joke, it's a sham. I'm with you on that one.
2. Fitch was the last Mahoning County public school to schedule Ursuline. Played the games in Week #3. (I think you were there). Ursuline's State Runner-Up Team ( I think you were there) beat the 1-9 Fitch Team 21-14 at your place.
3. All of sudden, Ursuline's signed on to play MLC in Week#3 , and have been playing them Week#3 every year since......What's up with that?
4. Some good news, Fitch and Mooney next year and the year after. Some better news would be Fitch and Ursuline on each others schedule too.
Ursuline had no choice but to schedule MLC. Still a quality D2 team on the schedule though.
The excuse I heard from Mr. Mahone at Fitch was the following: "Their coaches [at Fitch] informed them they will not play Ursuline because it would not provide many computer points for them."
That is what Will Mahone tweeted me on Twitter a few weeks back. We ALL know what a joke that actually is. -
RedRider1Ursuline has to win this week or next (Steuby), or both, if that "4-6 and in the playoffs" scenario is going to happen.
St Ed's & Mooney will be tough...and East Tech wont get you any points. -

I'm pretty sure you don't believe that one, mainly because it makes no sense at all.mvred;895673 wrote:

Because HIS school doesn't play by the same guidelines as Ursuline. I told ya'll a long time ago that you chea....er, I mean, parochial schools were cutting your own throats and Mooney & Ursuline were the main reasons, but ya didn't want to listen. Tick tick tick. -

We dont play teams in smaller divisions than us. If you are thinking for one minute we would be afraid of you that is a joke. We back down to nobody. The last time we played Ursuline we won and went on to win a state title. Your team has had some great years but this year isnt one of them. I know 2 or 3 D5 teams that would beat you easily. Stop talking crap and better luck next year!Rocket08;894108 wrote:Great idea

Really skank the same guidelines? What does that mean? We will play anyone anytime as long as they are D4 or above. When we were independent we had a hard time with teams scheduling us because they didnt want a loss. Orrville will play anyone who do you want to schedule?skank;895820 wrote:Because HIS school doesn't play by the same guidelines as Ursuline. ThinthickbigredUrsulin takes out all there frustration this week and prepares for Big Red by beating Zanesville 76-14 no joke .. It will be disheartening

Whats wrong with playing a team from a lower division ??? What is that supposed to be a great favor by your school to the lower divisions? The divionanal system is broke .. Mooney is a very strong D-1 school and Ursulin is a very strong D2 school Delphose St John is a very strong D-3 school .. St Eds should be playing in the MAC and I dont mean the high school confrence .Red Rider Nation;896416 wrote:We dont play teams in smaller divisions than us. rmolin73You mean the same Delphos St. Johns that barely beat D6 Minster 7-0? Or the St. Edwards team that barely beat public school Glenville 17-14 in OT?

But yet they still won though. No computer points for close losses. -
ThinthickbigredA poll question should be added ... Will Ursulin score 80 against Zanesville?

OK first of all, let's get a couple of things straight. The last time your team played my team (and the only time I believe, we laid 50 points on you, so leave that weak stuff out of thisRed Rider Nation;896416 wrote:We dont play teams in smaller divisions than us. Secondly, your schedule is pretty lame, and you will not play anybody, that's BS
When was the last time you played a parochial school in the regular season, when the OHSAA couldn't make you play the game? (I'll wait for that answer)
You've had a couple of decent runs in the playoffs the last 2 years, but basically when you got out of your sad region you were done
Same will happen this year
You don't play with the big boys anymore. That era is over -

What team are you that put 50 on Orrville? What does not scheduling a parochial school have to do with anything? You are about as stupid as they come on this sight. Really curious who your team is. We do things right in Orrville: kids are born there, raised there, play there, and graduate there. I wouldnt trade our program for anything. When Orrville plays on Friday night, the town shuts down because everyone goes to the game. When you follow a parochial school, crowds are usually in the hundreds because nobody outside of your private school mentality really cares!!!Rocket08;897636 wrote:This quote was regarding Ursuline's schedule Big Orrville guy here got some liquid guts

The last time Orrville played Ursuline was in 1998 when Orrville won in the Regional final. We went on to win a state title that year. He is probably around 13 years old and was just born then. He must be on his mommys computer again!Thinthickbigred;897833 wrote:I think he is an Ursulin guy -
OQBHis team is Mooney..and he is referring to the 2006 regional final game.
As for the last time we played a parochial school in the regular season, it would be Canton Central Catholic, in 1999. We played them from 91-99. -
Rocket08So please tell me how you'll play anyone, anytime
That's BS
This is not a schedule of a team that will play anybody. It's not a horrible schedule, but it's not a great, demanding schedule either:
8/27 A Northwest (4-6) [3:11] W 24-22 9/3 H Triway (8-3) [4:14] W 41-19 9/10 A Copley (9-2) [2:5] L 33-34 2 ot 9/17 A Lexington (5-5) [2:6] W 21-14 9/24 H Mansfield (6-4) [2:6] W 28-14 10/1 H West Holmes (1-9) [3:11] W 38-6 10/8 A Ashland (10-3) [2:5] L 28-42 10/15 H Madison Comprehensive (2-8) [2:6] W 35-14 10/22 H Clear Fork (10-2) [4:14] L 0-33 10/30 A Wooster (7-3) [2:5] W 42-17
I get the league thing, but your out of conference games are Northwest, Triway, Copley and Ashland
Of those schools, only Ashland IMO, is a really good program
Plenty of room to move up and "Play Anyone"
By the way, We do things the right way too. And we do it pretty well -
