Gave up 62 in the first half last night vs columbus grove, and CG coulda scored another time late in the half but basically sat on it by running up the gut, with backups, and running the playclock down.
Ended up 69-7 but we left at the half with the score 62-0. Thing is, I dont even know if Grove is that good. You saw zero effort, desire and heart from the kids in blue. They avoided contact and didnt seem like they wanted to even be there.
Calling a pass into the flats to the WR on 4th and 13, or run up the gut on 3rd and 12, doesnt help matters either (especially when they were getting some decent gains passing downfield when they tried it).
Are they usually this bad? If I woulda paid to get in I woulda wanted my $$$ back.
